WHAT A FINAL
We promised a great final, and that is exactly what we got from the two sub-continental rivals( Pakistan v/s India) in the T20 final. India got to the fina after beating the Aussies in what was a brilliant game, all that i can say is that the Indian's fielding is top class.
In the final it was left until the last over when Pakistan needed 12 from it with one wicket, with Misbah on strike i thought it was in the bag for Pakistan, to add to that he hit a six from the first ball, then he played what i call a "stupid shot" with four balls to go and he was caught. it was a brilliant tournament and i think it should be played more. congradulations to India nobody( me included) thought they would win the T20.
BB OUT OF BUCS
BB has finally resigned from the Bucs saying it is because of his health and that he was no longer safe at his work, but i dont care what his reasons were i am just happy he has left and the club will release a statement and who is going to stand in within 24hrs.All this happened after we lost to Arrows 2-1 but atleast Ajax leveled matters by beating chiefs 1-0, what is wrong with the Soweto giants this season. hard luck to Downs for crushing out of the CAF confederations Cup after losing 3-1 to TP.
MAN-UTD BEAT CHELSEA
The game of the weekend was between Chelsea and Man-Utd. We wanted to see how the Blues players were going to cope after losing Jose Mourhino, after all it was The Red Devils who won 2-0 and Tevez scored his first goal for the team and the second one was scored by Saha from the spot kick.
GO BOKKE
The boks 'B' team played the guys from Tonga and they won narrowly by 30-25, after the coach saw we were struggling he bought in the regular players from the bench for them to seal the game, though it was not easy for them they tried hard and one of them Juan Smit scored a try. I can say we are alomost in the final because it seems we are going to play Argentina in the semis and i dont see them beating us.
