Brooke is the chosen oneThe last time I wrote an article, we had seen how Brooke was showered with praise from Stephanie, she was the Ice Queen’s princess, she had saved the beloved Prince Ridge’s life with a single kiss.
Her reward? Half of Forrester Creations, CEO title and being welcomed back into the Forrester fold, life was sweet!
Unfortunately for Brooke, Nick didn’t want her to have anything to do with the Forresters anymore, maybe it was insecurity on his part or maybe its like he said, he was tired of them constantly using and abusing the poor girl.
Poor Brooke, what was she to do? Here her dream has been handed to her on a silver platter, stock to the tune of millions of dollars, the opportunity to run the company again and the respect of her arch enemy Stephanie Forrester.
Why was Nick being so difficult, couldn’t he see how much this meant to her? She needed time to think so she went away, goodness knows where to think about Stephanie’s generous offer.
Meanwhile Brooke’s dad, Stephen Logan decided it was time to teach the Forresters a lesson and at the same time win back his daughter again. He stumbled on the idea of using Taylor, who was very angry at Steph for flaunting Brooke and Ridge in her face, by getting Taylips to sell the lousy 2% which Steph left her.
Revenge of a woman scornedTaylor was angry, she was a woman scorned and although she was not bent on revenge, Stephen was making the deal sound very enticing. But this is Taylor we’re speaking about, the innocent, virtuous, honourable woman with integrity, Taylor doesn’t do revenge very well so as sweet as Stephen’s deal sounded, she was not convinced.
She decided to give Steph her lousy stock back so off she went to the Forrester mansion where all the Forrester kids were gathered, Steph was busy slicing up the Forrester pie giving herself, Eric and Ridge 10% each of the stock, 6% each to Thorne, Kristen and Felicia and leaving the last 2% for Taylor since she was part of the family.
When Taylips stepped in and saw yet another family gathering without her being invited, she was mad as hell, she started lashing out at each of the Forresters like a woman possessed. She gave it to Kristen for not phoning her when she went through her divorce, Felicia was scolded for not supporting her, Thorne got his beans for never inviting her over for a barbecue, on and on it went.
Eventually Steph had had enough, she shooed everyone out and told Taylor she’s really angry at her, Stephanie, so they need to discuss this alone.
Boy, what a discussion that turned out to be!Taylips was ranting and raving like a lunatic but she was spot on with everything she was telling Steph, how Rige was the centre of her existence, how the other children always lived in his shadow, how Eric could never be fulfill her because she has an unhealthy obessession with her oldest son.
Steph dared to ask Taylor what she meant and ever so carefully Taylips spelled it out to her, “a mother’s love is supposed to be pure and something beautiful”, she implied that Steph’s love for Ridge was something dirty and almost incestuous.
She told Steph why she was always jealous of Brooke because she got to play naughty games with Ridge by parading in her sexy skimpy lingerie and she further rubbed it in telling Steph, that she Steph wished she could play those sexual games with her son. With that, Steph slapped her across the face while Taylips stood looking shocked.
She walked out of the house with the words”you should not have done that”.
Stephen was very persistent with Taylor, he called her up and she told him to meet at her house.
He eventually convinced her to sell her shares and that was that or so we thought.
Nick gives Brooke an ultimatumWhen Brooke got back from wherever she was, she told Nick that she was not going to accept Steph’s offer, her relationship is far too important and she won’t let anything come between them, mmh lets see how long she can keep her promise.
So she phones up Ridge and tells him she’s ready with her answer and will be over at Forrester shortly. Nick decides to accompany her and just as Brooke is about to tell the Forresters no, Nick’s cellphone rings and he goes out into the passage to answer. It’s Stephen telling him that Taylor signed her stock over to Brooke.
Nick immediately rushes in just as Brooke is about to decline and he answers on her behalf, that she’s accepting the offer. Brooke is confused but smiling from ear to ear. Stephanie looks worried at Nick’s sudden change of heart.
That evening Nick organises a celebratory dinner and gives Brooke the surprise of her life by handing over her extra 2%, she’s now the majority shareholder of Forrester Creations. However the gift comes with a major condition, she has to fire Eric, Stephanie and Ridge, Thorne is spared.
On Brooke’s first day back at Forrester, she was running late or rather she was preoccupied with the condition that Nick presented to her the previous evening, how can she fire Forresters from Forrester Creations, it doesn’t make sense. Nick was hard assed about it, she either fire them or kiss her future with him goodbye.
Firing the ForrestersThe Forresters were all excited about Brooke’s return, they had the welcome banners out and all Brooke’s belongings was brought up from her basement office to her new CEO office, Eric’s old office, the one with the green chair.
When Brooke walked in, she was overwhelmed by the welcome mat which was laid out for her, Steph started sucking up but Brooke remembered her dad’s words, not to get sucked in again. She stood firm and told them she had something to announce.
She gathered her wits about her and boldly announced that she was now the majority stockholder after her father acquired Taylor’s 2%, in her capacity as CEO and owner of Forrester, she was terminating their services with immediate effect. Their smiles disappeared and the look on their faces, especially Steph’s, was priceless.
Taylor and Bobby Ewing sexing it upIt’s just so much easier to call him Bobby rather than boring old Stephen, it’s too similar to Stephanie.
Well after Taylips sold her stock, she thought that was the end of it, she would never see Bobby again but the guy had something else up his sleeve. He found Taylor to be very vulnerable and when one is down, you go in for the kill. Okay it wasn’t exactly like that, Bobby seemed to genuinely care about Taylor’s wellbeing.
He went to go see her one night and found her drinking again, he made all the right noises and one thing led to another and before we knew it, they were kissing.
We weren’t shown all the gory details, just Taylips making coffee for her one night stand the next morning, oh and she commented on how impressed she was with his uhhh performance last night. This old dog know his tricks, it might not be the days of Pamela Ewing but he’s still got it going on and clearly he likes big lipped woman, Taylor’s lips I mean.
Well later in the day Bobby sent Taylor a bunch of flowers probably to thank her for the great sex they had the previous night, he also dropped his watch in her bed so came over to her house to fetch it. While he was upstairs, Steph came over to hash things out with Taylor for selling her stock.
Imagine her surprise when Bobby comes downstairs and with Steph’s mind clearly in the gutter, she knew Taylor got it all last night. She told Bobby he was a sneaky bastard for taking advantage of Taylor and expressed her disappointment in her former daughter in-law / bestfriend.
Taylips had just about had it with Steph and her patronizing ways, she threw her out of the house telling her she never wants to see her again. Mmm, so nice for Taylips to get the Brooke treatment, now she knows how it feels.
Bold’s love trianglesFelicia Forrester is back to her old self, she has cheated death and is back to her naughty ways. When Christian gave her the all clear, he seemed disappointed not to be her personal physician anymore. As they bid each other goodbye, he went back and kissed her passionately, she kissed him right back but afterwards told him that she had to see if things between her and Dante will work out.
With Dante’s upcoming exhibition, Bridget wasn’t around to pose for him so Felicia took it upon herself to remove her clothing and pose for the sexy Italian Stallion.
It seemed as if Felicia was naked for days on end as we kept seeing her posing for Dante on the couch as he sculpted away.
When Bridget dropped by and saw what was happening, she seemed angry but Felicia took control of the situation telling Bridget in no uncertain terms that she’s been stringing Dante along for more than a year and still she’s not ready to commit to anything.
The words were harsh for Bridget’s ears but it was the truth and she finally had to let Dante go and let her sister have a shot at him. What is it with this family screwing the same people over and over again although technically speaking Bridget didn’t sleep with Dante but she was screwing with his mind.
You see Bridget was still hung up on Nick and it became clear that she was actually pleased about the predicament her mother found herself in, secretly hoping that her mother and Nick would break up so that she can be Nick’s shoulder to cry on. Naughty naughty Bridget!
Back at Dante’s place, Felicia was still naked with a sheet wrapped around her body when Christian popped in, not sure where Dante was, probably in the loo.
Well when there’s a hot looking doctor in the house and you are semi-naked, what do you do? Well Felicia did what most nice girls would probably not do, she started kissing him passionately and before we knew it, Dante was back in the room telling Christian to get his hands off Felicia.
Well when Dante and Felicia were alone again, Dante was angry. He told her how disappointed her was in her, why sleeping around and generally acting like a slut is not the way to go especially since she’s a mother now, on and on he lectured her until the tears rolled down in her face and she realized that this man genuinely cares for her since nobody has ever spoken to her like that before.
Will Dante and Felicia finally get together?Brooke makes her final decisionWith Ridge and Brooke alone in the office, Ridge used a very subtle approach to convince Brooke this is not what she really wants, to fire all of them. He kept telling her that Nick doesn’t know what is good for her, he is making her do things she doesn’t want to do. Brooke knew Ridge was right but she aint telling him that.
When Nick drops by and sees how vulnerable Brooke is to Ridge, he tells her again this is the only way its going to work but Brooke decides to stand up for herself, telling Nick that she’s not going to fire the Forresters, it doesn’t make business sense, losing two of their lead designers would send everyone into a tailspin.
Nick was determined not to have Brooke working with Ridge so Brooke came up with a plan to run Forrester Creations from the Marone offices. Its not a satisfactory solution for either Ridge or Nick but its one that they will both have to bear with for now.
Ridge walks out with the words that not everything can be done via telephone.
Later when Brooke’s alone in the office, Stephanie comes in and tells her that she has to side with her, she implores Brooke to take a stand against her father and Nick. Brooke gives Steph a questioning look.
What does Stephanie have up her sleeve? Will Nick and Brooke survive this obstacle or will it tear them apart? Will Stephen make some seductive moves on Jackie now that Taylor has told him she only wants to be friends?
