Another loss to SA football, it is reported that the Black Leopards Captain Fernando Matola who was from Mozambique died in a car crash on his way to his national team camp for Ghana2008 qualifiers.
The player was with his wife and kids when he met this tragic death in Makhado, this happens two days after the passing on of Gift Leremi who also died in a car crash. I really dont know how to express my deepest condolences to the black Leopards family and his family.
I knew him as the no-nonsense Defender at leopards who was also their captain. it is alleged that he died with all his family in the car,they all burnt beyond recognition.
For the past decade it is like God is forming a good team in heaven, i mean Gift is not yet burried.
