Whenever I get a chance, I tune into channel 37. It does not happen nearly as much as I would like because this work thing is interfering with my BBA2 time. I tried to catch up during the weekend, what immediately got my attention is the relationship between the Angolan Flirting Princess, and the only very Married Man in the house.
I do not understand the hype around Tatiana. She is simply not that beautiful or gorgeous. Quite frankly, I think that most men are just blinded by the light skin. My opinion and I am entitled to it. Thank you very much.
Tatiana is playing the role of the Residential Flirt. The Angolan actress stroked the egos, hands, hair and whatever of almost every man in the house from the very first night. She stayed clear from Maxwell because Lerato laid claim to Babbbeee almost immediately. The women in the house know: You don’t mess with Babbbeee’s Babbbeee. You better not even think about it
I can’t remember the specific night, but Tatiana and Richard had a disagreement about her touching him. Apparently he did not like it. He wanted to know why she touched him. The sly girl did not answer him but promised him that she would not touch him again.
I have no idea how the relationship went from not touching to sharing a bed. Quite a development.
Richard told KB, when he entered the house, that he is married and that the girls in the house should not even think about doing funky things with him. The man actually looked quite lost without his wife in the beginning. I kinda of felt sorry for the dude. Richard was also one of my favourite housemates because he did not the clique thing. He stood out for me because of his personality and not because of his liaisons in the house. I have this aversion to people who do the clique thing.
I wonder how Richard’s wife is handling the development of the relationship between Richard and Tatiana. If I was her, I would be mortified. Because I do not think it purely friendship. I don’t think it is purely sexual chemistry. I think it is a dangerous combo of both.
Will I approve if my significant other develops an emotional bond with another woman? And that in an enclosed space without having any contact with me? Hell, no.
They are spending a LOOOTTTTT of time in each other’s company. Alone. Like last night they waited till the others left the Jacuzzi before they got in. The rest of the housemates were eating and they were in the Jacuzzi. Alone.
And they are always touching each other. Even when they are in the company of others. Tatiana can’t keep her hands of Richard. Constantly stroking his hair or his hand. And… and he is so enjoying it.
Richard speaks in a very robust manner. His voice is loud and he laughs like a crazy hyena. When he speaks to Tatiana, his voice drops and sounds almost sweet. I don’t know about you ladies, but that is the way that my man speaks to me. In a loving sweet voice. I better not catch him speaking to any other female in that voice. That voice is reserved for me and me only. There would be hell to pay.
Saturday night Tatiana slept in Richard’s bed.
Yes, they say nothing happened. I know they discussed the issue the next morning. I could not follow the conversation because I don’t always understand what Richard and Tatiana are saying. But, like always, I came to my only conclusions. He wanted to know if he did something in his sleep, blah blah blah (got that from Maureen… gosh that girl is getting on my very last nerve). What I also got is that they discussed sleeping together again and she said no. Her reason: It was too nice. If she is going to say ‘NICE’ one more time… I am going to use a tweezers and torture myself. Not that she would care…. but I would need the distraction.
I do not know about other women, but my man better not sleep in a bed with another woman and then claims nothing happened. What did they do in bed together? Were there no other beds available? Nah, I will not be able to accept any explanation. Not even if they were in the North Pole with only one bed and he took the biggest ice block around and placed it between them. Not even then. He could have slept on the floor.
There was also the incident where Richard asked her for her telephone number. Clearly he wants to keep in contact with her after the show. Meaning whatever is going on, is in his mind not only a thirteen week affair. It is something more serious than that.
Last night Code, aka The Prince of Gossip and Kwaku had an interesting gossip session about the relationship between Richard and Tatiana. Code is of the opinion that Richard is soo deep that he even does the jealousy thing and that Tatiana is not stupid. According to Code she knows exactly what she is doing and that Home Boy Rich is getting seriously played. In Code’s words, to get played like that on TV, that is some mad *bleep!*.
Is Tatiana playing Richard? I have no idea. She changed her behaviour towards the other men in the house. She is not that seriously flirtatious with them. But then, almost everyone else is attached. Babbbeee and Babbbeee, the American Hip Hop Hop Star Wanna Be and the Household Slut, The Gossip King and his Creepy Friend or whatever… So she does not have many flirting options. That leaves only Jeff and he is gay (is he out of the closet yet?) and the married man himself.
But I do know this: Richard’s wife has more than just one reason to be worried. I would actually be pissed. In my view, he is cheating. He may not have done the deed with Tatiana, but he is emotionally cheating on her. On TV… for the rest of Africa to see it. I don’t think it can get worse than that.
If he was my man, I would not have been able to forgive him.
