Hey y'all, im back again with your Isidingo Recap (23-27July)... today being the 30th July, SABC 3 re-launched their look. I was hoping Isidingo would take a free ride... The opening sequence is still the same with Cherel.... Im giving up on them now...
Back to the re-cap, I'll start with the dead and hopefully gone plots (Q, Barker and Goodwill)..... pics were taking forever to load
Q did not make it
Oooh hooo… Q didn’t make it to Milan. What an anti- climax. Siyanda found him and kidnapped him for the weekend and took him back to Maggie. I don’t know why she keeps treating Q like he’s a lil’ boy. And why doesn’t she stay with her brother anyway. If I was Maggie, aint no way I’m gonna trust someone who tried to Bamboozle oldies from their hard earned cash, to stay in my house. Kinda reminds me of the Fidentia scandal, when people don’t have respect for other people’s money.
The way forward?? Q has to find work in 2 weeks to pay pack all the money he took, including the ticket money. Q needs to get a J-O-B!!!!
Barker’s last day of community service
Barker completed his community service with satisfying results. Thanks to his coaching skills, Mrs. Cele house won’t go up in flames. Mrs. Cele called a meeting with the other group who got the contract and lured them into her camp. So the 2 sewing circles have now become one.
Barker was happy with the outcome; Lee was relieved that her hotel won’t be part of a scandal. So everyone is happy at the end…Yep, happy ending!!
Barker took Harry out to lunch and told her all about his victory. Which had me thinking?? When is Harry going to get a man?? She and Barker need to be friends with benefits, coz I really can’t see them together.
Ms. Cele held most of her meeting in isiZulu, Barker asked Harry to organize him a isiZulu coach. Which also reminded me, what happened with Lolly and Maggie learning Zulu? Did they also forget about that?? That means that Len wins the bet, he told them they wouldn’t last a month.
Badwill
Ok where do I start with this boring plot? Goodwill is in jail and its all thanx to Slu. Georgie won the battle, he visited Goodwill to tell him that he was the only king, is the only king and always will be the only king of Horizon Deep, Jozi and the whole SA. Goodwill bowed down and accepted Georgie as boss. He (Goodwill) agreed to spend time in jail and let Georgie reign.
Slu and Bafana had a plan but when it came to the crunch, Slu didn’t keep his end of the bargain. When Bafana was hired by Georgie (yes he’s Papa G’s new man), he told Georgie that he should watch who he works with, referring to Slu of course. Slu was supposed to kill Georgie right? When Georgie found this out, he wasn’t impressed. He wanted to give Slu another smack down, but Slu was quick to playback a conversation he had with Georgie. Let’s just say this conversation would free Goodwill. So what does Georgie do?? He gives Slu a promotion. Slu now runs all Goodwill’s businesses and shares profits with Georgie. He’s also Bafana’s boss!
Mina I’m just glad this whole thing is over.
Georgie’s got kids??
I don’t know about you, but if Georgie is this rich why doesn’t he have a house?? He and Gugu always eat food at his shebeen. While having breakfast, Gugu asked Georgie if he has kids. He has kids, but doesn’t remember how many children he has??? What?? How does a man not know how many he has?? He also told Gugu that he doesn’t have access to any of his children. This bothered Gugu so much that she got up and left after hearing this crazy revelation.
Georgie on the other hand is trying to be a good man for his women. He told her that he wants to leave the world better than how he found it. Meaning he will probably does some charity work!
The Matabane’s in a sticky situation
Vusi and the Matabanes felt that building the new housing developments is taking forever because of some red-tape from the council or municipality. So Vusi arranged a meeting with Mr. Shongwe the Councilor of Horizon Deep. Shame uMr. Shongwe was this old wrinkled man, who had the meeting with Vusi at The Rec.
The invisible Mavis made her curry special, added some curry powder and no chillies. Maggie was kind to divulge the recipe to Mr. Shongwe who was chowing down the curry like it was his eehhm…last meal. Maggie kept on interrupting Vusi’s meeting with Mr. Shongwe. Mr. Shongwe licked his fingers and his spoon and Maggie took away his plate. She came back with a desert sticky desert with custard. Mr. Shongwe took a couple spoons of the pudding…Vusi tried to put in some words in between the sticky pudding. The next thing………................ Mr. Shongwe face fell and was stuck to the sticky pudding bowl...!! It was a funny site, this old man was cast for Isidingo and he was told the he must put his face in a bowl of sticky pudding with custard. What a sweet death...hehehehehe
The paramedics came and they couldn’t save him. Agnes was panicking obviously. She didn’t want to see or hear the word pudding! Lettie, Zeb and Nandipha were having debate about the fact that chilli killed Mr. Shongwe.
Now since the councilor is dead, a new one must be elected. Ma’Agnes and Vusi felt that Zeb will be a perfect candidate for the elections. Hmm Zeb in a high power position…?? I guess we’ll have to watch his head and ego grow bigger and bigger.
On another end: there was a gas leak at the mine. I know this will be expanded this week.
The Xaviers are back
The Xaviers are back with a bang. Frank asked Natasha if they could formalize things between them. This means that they can officially move in together. Natasha was happy with Frank’s request. The hurdle was to tell the kids and both agreed to tell their kids separately.
The kids on the other hand are getting along. Nicky just got her driver’s license and she been playing Calvin’s driver. She had lunch with her ex-druggie dad who promised her that his life is back in order. Nicky got excited and had hoped that this meant that her parents can get back together.
Calvin passed his mid-year exams. He got A, B and C’s and the “parents” were very proud of him. To celebrate, Frank took his son out to a fancy restaurant and ordered him French champagne or as Calvin says it…”Frenz zhampagne” – you gotta love him. When Frank broke the news to Calvin, he was shocked at first but accepted his dad’s decision with terms and condition. Basically he was happy that his dad was happy. They even did their own rendition of "I love you daddyyyy!!!!" - by telling each other that they lahv each other... ncooh..
Nicky was an absolute b!tch to her mother! Not once did she consider her mom’s happiness. She was being a selfish jerk telling her mom that she wants her to go back to her dad so they could be a happy family! After Natasha tried to reason with her daughter, Nicky asked her to choose between her and Frank (who does she love more). Natasha chose her daughter for obvious reasons! She told Frank and Calvin to move out and find their own place.
That really made me angry? I put myself in Tash’s shoes: I would obviously choose my daughter (i'm not a mom so I cant really relate), but I would be so miserable, hoping that she realizes that i’m not happy and hope she feels bad and lets me do my own things.
In the same breath, I put myself in Nicky’s situation (again I have never been in the situation) but I wouldn’t like my mom moving on. I’ve seen friends with single parents cope and some don’t. So it is a difficult situation all round.
Who do you support here?? Nicky or Natasha?? Are you in a similar situation? Please share and let us know how you deal or would deal with the situation (if you find yourself in it)??
That's it my people... holler at me here or at lahvee@tvsa.co.za
Spread the Lahv....annnndddddddd...
GO GOLD!!!!!
