For the first time Brooke finds herself in the middle of a love triangle, yeah yeah she’s always been on the one side of a triangle but this time there are two guys madly wanting to get her into bed, who will be the first?

It’s been awhile since I brought you an update on Bold but lets start off where we left off, the day of Brooke and Ridge’s Wedding when Nick barged in, threw Brooke over his shoulder and ran upstairs.

Mayhem and Madness at the Wedding

With Brooke over his shoulder and a shocked Ridge looking on, Nick raced upstairs with Brooke and locked them up in Brooke’s bedroom. He then threw her on the bed and made mad passionate love to her, oh wait that’s not what happened, my imagination is running away with me again but he did attempt to kiss her silly until she kissed him back. Poor Ridge was left knocking on the door begging Logan to open.

Eventually with the wedding in total chaos, the guests, which included Thorne, Darla, Massimo, Jackie, Eric, Stephanie and dear old feisty Sally who couldn’t resist having a jab at the drama which is Forrester weddings, were all left speculating about what was going on upstairs.

In Nick’s camp we had Steph and Jackie, the two mother inlaws who are complete opposites in their view of Brooke Logan. Steph will do anything to get her out and Jackie will do anything to bring her into her family, night and day I tell ya!

In Ridge’s camp we had the two dads, Eric and Massimo who were as clueless as blondes at a White Chicks party. They had no idea what the real deal was here unlike their meddlesome wives/ex-wives.

Massimo and Eric were concerned about Bridget, how can Dominique do this to his Bridget, Massimo bellowed while Eric was pointing fingers at what kind of son Massimo raised, errr Eric, its not exactly as if Massimo knew either of his sons from a young age, in fact what kind of son did you raise in Ridge, keeping two women dangling for so long and not being able to make up his mind?

Eventually the concerns of the two men were laid to rest when Bridget rocked up at the wedding and tried to convince everybody that she was okay with this whole thing, she is the one who set Nick free because she realized he was still inlove with her mom, she was okay about everything, she insisted.

Upstairs Nick was trying to convince Brooke that they could finally be together again. When Brooke eventually opened the door to Ridge, her feelings were in turmoil, what to do, what to do, here are two men whom I love dearly, one has treated me *bleep!* all these years but I still love him and the other, I’ve grown to love in a way that is completely healthy and normal except off course that he’s my daughter’s husband which makes him my son inlaw, how normal and healthy is that? Brooke pondered and wrestled with her feelings and thoughts, in fact there were quite a few episodes which ended the same, Brooke in the middle of Popeye and Dressmaker Boy having to make a decision.

Bridget sets the record straight

With Brooke being unsure about Bridget’s feelings in all of this, she was hesistant to believe anything that Nick was telling her. Eventually Bridget came into the room and had a good heart to heart with her mom. Its okay mom, you may have my hubby, I’m fine with it really, she tried to convince her mother.

Each one had a turn to come in and speak to the involved parties, Brooke, Bridget, Nick and Ridge. Stephanie tried to convince Ridge to give it up, he’s lost his Logan for good this time, oh for goodness sake Steph, put a sock in it already, Eric spoke to Bridget about her feelings and if she’s sure she’s doing the right thing, Massimo had a stern talk with Nick about abandoning his wife so soon after they lost their child and everyone came in to speak to Brooke to convince her who to choose. On and on and on it went for about a week and a half, back and forth, to and fro, Brooke and Nick or Brooke and Ridge, who will it be?

Felicia goes out with a bang

Unaware of the chaos happening at Brooke’s house, a weak Felicia summoned Dante to the guesthouse. It became clear she was preparing herself for death that very same day. She had legal papers drawn up making Dante and Bridget the legal guardians of her baby boy, Dominique.

Afterwards, she requested Dante gather her family together at her bedside so she can leave the world looking into their faces. Dante did everything required of him and once Thorne got the call, he and the rest of the Forresters including Nick and Bridget raced to get to the guesthouse in time.

Poor Brooke was left all by her lonesome self when Steph gave her the death look, don’t you dare set your foot near that guesthouse, is what her eyes told Brooke, you see Steph has the ability to make a statement without saying a single word.

At the guesthouse, Felicia prepared her family for her final farewell. Being the life of the party as she always was, she requested they each fill their glasses with champagne and toast to her as she leaves the big bad world for greener pastures.

With glasses filled, each one made their way to Felicia’s bedside and said their final words as they bid her farewell. They raised their glasses and toasted her because that is what she wanted and it was quite sad really but fitting for the person that Felicia was. She was given her glass of champagne and drank from a straw. Stephanie was not happy with the way things were going, she wanted to lash out and scream at Felicia not to give up, to fight, but Eric would not let her. He told her that this is the way Felicia wants it to be, don’t fight it.


Eventually Steph made her way to her daughter’s bedside and held her in her arms silently begging her not to give up, and as Felicia lay with her head over Steph’s shoulders, her body suddenly went rigid and her head flopped sideways. That was it, it was all over as everyone bowed their heads and shed silent tears. Steph on the other hand was beside herself with grief and for the first time, we saw an emotional, out of control Steph as she held her dead daughter in her arms crying out, “No No Felicia No”!

Keep it in your pants, Ridge

We all know that Ridge has been horny for a long time now, he’s a man who’s never been without a woman for longer than a day or so. Well the last time he had sex was with Taylor on that fateful New Year’s Eve and we all know how that turned out.

Valentines Day has come and gone with Ridge trying unsuccessfully to seduce Brooke and I would estimate that its about six months into the new year and Ridge has still not been successful in getting any sex so when Felicia died, Ridge thought now would be the perfect time to manipulate Brooke into giving him what he wants.

We all know that Brooke doesn’t need much persuasion in the bedroom especially when it comes to Ridge so it came as no surprise when Ridge went knocking on her door the night Felicia died. In fact it was his dad, Massimo, who fetched him from wherever he’s living nowadays and took him to Brooke’s place telling him he needs to be with his wife and kids in this time of grief.

Before Brooke knew what was happening, Ridge was in her shower preparing himself for his night with her. He made all the right noises, no not oooh and aaah but he played the grieving brother to the hilt and Brooke was right there giving him her shoulder to cry on. Brooke should be used to this by now, what with Ridge losing Caroline, Brooke was there, when Ridge lost Taylor, Brooke was right there and when Ridge lost Taylor the second time, Brooke was there. Brooke has always been Ridge’s rock, only problem is, he never saw it for the last 15 years while he was messing her around.

Now that Brooke may seriously be inlove with another man, now suddenly Ridge finds her undeniably appealing, sexy, alluring and he’s drawn to her in a way that’s bordering on obsession, the same unhealthy obsession she has always had for him but strangely enough, the tables have turned and it’s not in Ridge’s favour.

So it’s the night that wouldv’e been Ridge and Brooke’s wedding night and Ridge still sees it that way, calling her his wife and wanting to seal the deal. Brooke just wants to comfort the man so when the two of them are lying on the bed, Brooke on top of Ridge (Ridge was half naked and Brooke had a gown on), they were unaware of Sailor Boy Nick watching them getting it on or so he thought.

With Massimo keeping guard at Brooke’s house, Nick came over wanting to see his beloved but his father stopped him telling him Ridge and Brooke have been upstairs for a long time, Nick can only imagine what they must be up to. In anger, Nick storms past his father, races upstairs and comes upon the scene of Brooke and Ridge kissing in bed.

He ran so fast out of there like the devil was behind him and nearly knocked his mother over as she was coming in. Had he waited for another second or two, he would’ve seen Brooke roll off Ridge telling him that he’s not scoring tonight, she’s not ready to make a decision with regards to her love life. Sorry Ridge, your pathetic, manipulative attempts to ease your erection is not gonna work, not this time around.

An old friend never lets you down

At Chuck’s Bar, we see Taylor and Hector sitting together at a table and it’s obvious that Taylor has downed quite a few shots because she’s as drunk as a skunk. My my, how the mighty have fallen, Taylor’s new hangout spot is not Café Ruse but Chuck’s Bar and her new best friend is BOOZE?

Hector is pissed off because all Taylor can talk about is Ridge, Ridge, Ridge!
He had it all figured out or so he thought, once Taylor’s marriage was over, he was a shoo-in for the post of husband to the delectable Dr Taylor Hayes, how wrong he was. He gets a call out and leaves money for a cab and Taylor’s car keys with Chuck , the barman. Good thinking Hector, we don’t want her landing in a ditch again or even worse causing an accident, killing herself only to rise from the dead looking even more unfamiliar to us.

When an angry Nick storms into the bar, he heads straight for the counter and tells Chuck to line up the shooters, he downs them quickly in an attempt to erase the scene of Brooke with Ridge from his head. Taylor drunkenly stumbles her way over to Nick and joins him as the two connect over their lost loves.

I’m not sure if Chuck’s Bar is right near the marina where Nick’s boat is but when Nick went home, a drunken Taylor followed him.

Nick and Taylor caught red-handed

When Brooke made her way downstairs and found Jackie in her living room, Jackie was quick to ask what happened upstairs causing her son to run like the wind. This is the first Brooke heard of Nick being upstairs and as the scene played over in her mind, she knew exactly what made Nick dash off like that.

With Brooke still in her nightgown, Jackie quickly offered her her fur coat so that Brooke can run after Nick and explain what really happened in her bedroom.

Meanwhile, Nick is finishing off what he started at Chuck’s by drinking more booze when Taylor arrives. Confused, Nick invites her in and the two start talking drunken, nonsensical things. Next thing, Taylor is in Nick’s arms and there was a moment between them, albeit a drunken moment, there was a moment nonetheless.


In that moment, the boat shook abit, and the two clumsy drunks went sprawling onto the bed in each other’s arms and that is the scene that greeted Brooke when she came aboard.

A shocked Brooke looked at the two drunks in disgust and Taylor for the first time had to hang her head in shame. They were quick to explain to Brooke that it’s not what it seems and Taylor hurriedly made her get-away leaving her shoes behind.

Stephanie’s strange behaviour

Steph has been acting rather weird lately, the remarks she’s making to Dante and Bridget, even to Eric and Taylor, they realise that Stephanie is not dealing with Felicia’s death, she’s speaking as if Felicia is still very much alive.


When she went over to Taylor and found her drunk, she was okay with it, when Taylor told her what happened between her and Nick, did she call Taylor out for her stupid, foolish behaviour, nooooo, she told Taylor that she will always be an angel. She even encouraged Taylor to get together with Ridge again and to fight for him but Taylor is not interested, all she can think about is that drunken moment she shared with Nick.

Meanwhile, Eric wants to have a memorial service for his late daughter but Steph is having none of it, she refuses to honour her daughter’s memory which is rather weird and Eric can’t understand what’s going on with his wife.

He complains to Jackie that Steph is shutting him out, he has no idea at which funeral home Felicia’s body is being kept and it’s strange that Steph refuses to share this information. Eric decides to take matters into his own hands by arranging a memorial service for Felicia against Stephanie’s wishes.

Meanwhile we see Steph meeting with the funeral director or so we thought at the time. Later it would emerge that he is the head of some medical facility.


At the memorial service, everyone came to pay their last respects and even Kristin flew in. Each of the siblings gave a touching speech about their fondest memory of Felicia and Stephanie sat through it all. Unable to handle the morbidness of the occasion, Stephanie got up abruptly, said something about all of this not being right and went to the library where she made a call to the “funeral director”.

Felicia is not dead, she’s alive (barely)

Eventually when Steph makes another visit to the “funeral home”, the old dude takes her inside to see Felicia’s body but wait this is not a corpse we’re seeing, in fact its Felicia very much alive, in a comatose state but still she’s alive and she’s hooked up to life support.


We learn that on the day Felicia supposedly died, the paramedics found a weak pulse as they were driving to the hospital and Steph instructed them to bring Felicia to this private hospital. With the help of a European doctor, Christian Ramirez, they’ve been battling to keep Felicia alive.


Steph has decided to keep the secret from the family as she didn’t want their hopes raised only to go through the whole grieving process again if Felicia didn’t make it which makes sense I suppose but I still I feel they had a right to know, I would want to know if it was my family member.

Stephanie decides to play god

With the odds of surviving clearly stacked against Felicia, Stephanie takes matters into her own hands. When the doctors decide to take Felicia off life support to see if she can breathe on her own, things don’t look good for Felicia as she battles to stay alive. Stephanie decides to give her daughter a reason for living so she fetches Baby Dominick who has been nicknamed Dino by his dad (at least its still Baby D), takes the baby to his mother’s bedside and miraculously it seemed to have helped as Felicia fights back.

Unable to handle the burden on her own, Stephanie decides to come clean with Eric. It just so happened that Eric was planning to ask Steph for a divorce so he can marry Jackie but Steph got to him first when she took him to the private hospital and showed him their daughter is still alive. A disbelieving Eric was firstly upset with Steph but when he gets a reaction from Felicia, he is overjoyed and he and Steph bond over their daughter’s bedside.

The only hope of Felicia surviving is to have a liver transplant and Dr Christian explains to them that she has been put on a list but the odds of her getting a liver appears very slim. It’s then that Steph offers her own liver to her daughter, a partial liver transplant they called it but he warned Steph of the risks involved not only to her daughter but to herself as well.


Eric was not keen for Steph to make the ultimate sacrifice but Steph was adamant she had lived her life, it was time for her daughter to live hers, she has a son to raise afterall. How very noble of Steph to make such an offer dontcha think, this is the first time that I’ve seen her focusing so much on someone other than Ridge.

Well it wasn’t really necessary for Steph to go through with the procedure because just before they were going to operate, Dr Christian informed them that they had received a donated liver. Well through all the drugs that Steph was on, Eric was saying the kindest, most amazing words to her, I think he fell inlove with his wife again during that time.

Once the transplant was done, things were looking up for Felicia as the doctor gave Steph the great news that Felicia was doing rather well and her body was accepting the new liver. Only thing now is that she will have to go on chemotheraphy.


Slowly but surely Felicia was making progress, even cracking jokes with her doctor and being her usual funny self. Her parents were overjoyed that their daughter was given more time to be with them.

Brooke chooses Popeye and pirate games are played

After all the back and forth between Ridge, Brooke and Nick, frankly I was getting sick of it all. Eventually Brooke made her choice and surprise surprise, she chose Nick much to Ridge’s disgust.

Ridge couldn’t bear the thought that Brooke could choose another man over him and in his mind he thought she was just playing games with him. Even Bridget tried to convince Ridge to stop being in denial but all Ridge saw was that Brooke was getting her revenge on him for all the years he chose other women over her.

Well Bridget and Nick eventually signed divorce papers but it was gonna take six months to be finalized (don’t ask me why so long) but nevertheless Bridget made it clear to her mom that she’s free to be with Nick on one condition, Brooke and Nick should keep a low profile until the divorce is final. Brooke decided that she would honour her daughter’s privacy by not having sex with Nick until the six months is over. While Nick moaned and groaned about abstaining from sex, Ridge was delighted knowing that anything can happen in six months and he was determined to make Brooke see him as her destiny once again.

For the next few days, we saw Nick and Brooke getting all comfortable with each other again, they played happy family with Hope and RJ and Nick even took them on a pirate adventure on an island where they stayed overnight.


When Ridge found a pirate eye patch lying on the living room floor, he became furious and even had this evil glint in his eye. I’ve never seen Ridge as the villain before but lately he’s been looking more and more evil and I love the fact that he’s not getting what he wants, for once.


In a jealous rage, Ridge went over to Massimo and demanded he do something about this situation. He kept on about Nick kidnapping his family and he needed to be taught a lesson. Massimo quietly told Ridge to leave things in his hand, his words to Ridge was not to use a sledgehammer to destroy the relationship but rather a scalpel. We see Massimo making a few mysterious phonecalls.

Massimo raises his Stefano Dimera head

Massimo’s character in Bold has never really gotten any juicy action so this was the perfect opportunity for us the viewers to see another side to Massimo. We actually get to see abit of Stefano Dimera (Days of out Lives) in Massimo, only a wee bit though, nobody can ever be as evil as that character.

Massimo has Nick summoned to his private jet, the two had lunch together but there was tension, it was clear that Massimo had something on his mind. He pointed out to Nick all that he had built up over the years, his fleet of ships, the Marone name standing for honour, integrity and all that *bleep!*, get to the point already.

It became clear to Nick that his father was basically giving him an ultimatum, break off the relationship with Brooke so that she can free to be with Ridge or risk losing your inheritance.

Well Nick didn’t care about the money, he went to Brooke and told her that if she still wants him, he’s penniless whereas his brother is stinking rich. Brooke couldn’t believe that Massimo would do this to his son but she gladly accepted the penniless Nick as the two smooched on the patio and Brooke joked that she’s never cost somebody a billion dollars before.

They thought this was the end of their problems, it was just beginning.

The family learns the truth about Felicia


Felicia’s doctor, Christian Ramirez turned out to be related to our resident firefighter, Hector, apparently they’re brothers and Christian was in Europe all this time busy with his medical studies. The two went over to a barbecue at Dante and Bridget’s together with Darla and Thorne, I had no idea Hector and Dante even knew each other but never mind.


So Christian meets Bridget and the others and when he sees the baby, he immediately recognizes the baby as the same one Stephanie brought to the hospital to help Felicia. He asks Bridget about the baby and learns that Bridget and Felicia “were” sisters, Bridget tells him that her sister died and made her the baby’s legal guardian. Thorne and Bridget start reminiscing about the good times they had with Felicia and the doctor realizes that this family is still raw with grief and they need to learn the truth about their sister.


He makes his way to Stephanie and pleads with her to tell the family that their sister is alive since he can’t bear the thought of them grieving for someone who’s alive and the longer they wait the more difficult its gonna be for Bridget who’s really bonding with the baby.


The time has come and Steph prepares Felicia to see Bridget and Dante which makes Felica all excited. Eventually when Bridget comes face to face with her sister, the tears start rolling, there’s disbelief, it was such a beautiful moment until Baby D was placed in Felicia’s arms, it then dawned on Bridget that she wasn’t going to be a mother to this baby, once again she will be losing a baby.

Ridge, Kristin, Thorne and Darla are invited to the Forrester mansion, when they arrive the place is lit up with candles and a picture of Felicia is staring right at them. They think their mother has finally lost it, she refuses to deal with her daughter’s death and they talk amongst themselves about getting her help.

Meanwhile, Felicia is at the guesthouse preparing to see her brothers and sister again. Steph remarks that her hair is starting to fall out and Felicia tells her mother to cut it all off. At first Steph is hesitant but when Felicia insists, Steph starts snipping and snipping and when the doc mentioned about the cancer kids who can make wigs out of the hair, Felicia decided to snip it all off leaving her with a punk.style.


They were too overjoyed to see Felicia to be upset with their mom and later when they asked where their dad went, Steph explained to them about their father having poposed to Jackie.

Later when Felicia prepares to lie down, Dante and Bridget bring the baby around and its clear Felicia has plans to take her baby back as she has his place prepared for him already. This disturbs Bridget greatly but she does not let on, instead she quietly goes outside to cry by herself until Dante joins her.

She tells him that she knew Felicia would want her baby back but Dante assures her, it’s only for tonight since he and Bridget are the baby’s legal guardians and he will continue to stay with them. Yeah right, Dante!

Jackie’s sophisticated butt is thrown in jail

Poor Jackie, she really didn’t know what hit her, one minute she was sitting in her office talking to Eric about his relationship with Steph and how it had changed when he discovered Felicia was alive and the next minute she’s all alone being arrested by the FBI nogal.


We later discovered that Jackie was arrested for tax evasion, money laundering and other fraudulent crimes. They treated her like a criminal not allowing her bail, not even telling what she’s in for, she eventually made her one call to Nicky who rushed over to try and help his mom. Unable to get anywhere with the officers, he leaves his mom to cry on Brooke’s shoulders and makes his way over to his pop.

Masimo knew that Nick would come to him for help, he knew that if Jackie’s bail was set at 1 million dollars, Nick would have to ask his assistance since Jackie meant as much to Nick as Brooke did and now Massimo had full advantage to play Nick like a fiddle.

We all know how Nick hates being controlled and when Massimo didn’t budge when Nick asked for help, all he could talk about was Nick and Brooke breaking up, this made Nick realize that his father could possibly be the one who put his mother in jail to teach him a lesson and get him to do his bidding.


Massimo was neither admitting nor denying the role he played, all he wanted was for Nick to break up with Brooke if he wanted his father’s help in getting his mother out of jail but Nick refused to be controlled, he stormed out and told his dad that he, Massimo, is the one shutting the door between them.

Meanwhile, Jackie is in tears and she thinks that Massimo is powerful enough to have her released. When he does come to see her in her cell, she’s overjoyed but soon her joy turns to disappointment as Massimo makes it clear to her that she is the one who betrayed him, first with Deacon and then by encouraging Nick’s relationship with Brooke. If she wants to be released, she needs to show loyalty to him by convincing Nick to break up with Brooke for good.

A shocked Jackie looks on, knowing that she there’s no way she’s getting out jail tonight, she’s about to spend her first night in a jail cell.

So, will Jackie give in to Massimo and convince Nick to give up the love of his life? Will Bridget return the baby to his biological mother and move out of Dante’s place? Will Ridge finally get through to Logan and make her his?
