Episode 6x22: Phantom

This review may have some SPOILERS of season 7

On the first 10 minutes of the episode, I thought that this is going to be a big bore for the season finale but it most certainly picked up and turned out to be a great episode.

Now, Martha is gone. I actually think that I'm going to miss her. Like I said in a previous article is that I don't think there was much use for her anymore.

Finally after six seasons Clark finally told Lana where he is from. That sure took long enough. I feared for Lana's death but if you think about  it they set her up to die from a few episodes ago. Finding out Clark's secret and knowing what Lex is capable. My heart stopped when Lana's car exploded. I don't know if you guys noticed this, the milktruck conveniently passing by moments before the explosion. Could it be that Lana faked her own death. if you think about it it is a possibility. She told Lex that the only way he can keep her is by killing her. At the end of the episode Lex was stopped by the cops and they arrested him for Lana's death. Who else could have reported her death. Okay maybe it could have been Lionel but would he really give up his son. He didn't tell Clark that it was Lex, Clark came to that assumption alone.

So we finally get to see what power Chloe posess. The power of healing. To be honest I thought so. She gave her life to save Lois who by the way always causes someone to get hurt. I really don't think that Chloe will die, she will revive herself. I saw somewhere that the guy who plays Jimmy, Chloe's boyfriend will be a cast regular. Why bring him back if Chloe's dead. To be honest I don't think that anyone will be dead. They all will be back next season. This is just to mislead the fans.

I liked the special effects at the ending when Clark and the phantom Clark ran into one another.

Can you guys believe Lex as soon as he saw trouble he makes a duck and saves his own behind. The scene between Lex and Clark was too short, they should have fought a bit first. Another reason why I think Lana faked her death was because one could see that Lex was surprised. I really don't think that he will really kill her but then again we are talking about Lex.

It is a long wait before we would get to see the next season. You all must take care and I will write new articles when season 7 starts.
