It is a 3rd episode of Home Affairs 3. im not sure if it is my mind taken back to what happened to black south Africans back then or it is just a coincidence. As im watching this episode im taken back to the time that my adorable grandfather Tata Nelson Mandela spent in prison so that I can be heard, be valued, be respected and be given equal chance as any other person in this world … I’m just wondering how long will it take for people to understand that the colour of my skin doesn’t necessarily means that im eligible for any crime in this country or anything bad happening around, what will it take for them to see that am also a victim of the crime happening around here, im also a victim to the abuse happening around. I know I have all the characteristics of a strong men and indeed I have been strong because I have stand all the criticism, I have stand to be the first suspect when anything goes wrong in my neighbourhood, in my work, on the road, in shops and everywhere else, I have stand all the lies that when I have worked so hard for something, they’ll say it is BEE or because something has been given to me because i was previously disadvantaged, I have stand all the lies that am capable of doing nothing, I stand all those But someday I would like everybody to realise the pain I have inside and start treating me like everybody else, start realising that everything I have is because I worked hard for it and am allowed to enjoy my wealth without anybody questioning where did I get the money to buy a house or a car or whatever that I own … everybody must know that I also have dreams and I work night a day to realise them …. Before anything get emotional here let me do what am here to do.

Katlego and Katherine

The last episode ended with them running for their lives after that hijack incident. Well they ran until they find themselves in the road, ther tried to stop the first car that they saw but it didn’t stop, well they continue running until they find themselves in some shack, they knocked and asked for help (I still cant figure it out why that guy doesn’t have his own shack, at his age he is still sleeping with his mom … mhmm mommy’s boys). Well on that shack they well welcomed with warm hands, they looked so terrified and lost, they asked their lives savers to phone the police and they did, when the police came, they were so afraid to come out until the police gave that the assurance that they are police(police signal). Well they were taken to the police station for a statement. When Katlego saw Thandeka, she just said one word that I have never heard her saying it, she said mama (doesn’t it take an accident for one to forgive their long-lost parents … mhmm) but I guess she just fell safe to see her, they hugged each other (Senzo was there looking at her and I was deeply praying that katlego doesn’t call her baba and my prayer was answered.). Later we saw Katherine’s parents also coming to see their daughter, Thandeka tried to extend her hand to them but Katherines’ mom just shut her. Thandeka asked Katlego to spend a night at her place(Senzo took them there, hey bathong kanti udriver I citi golf, haai something is not right with that guy, he looked so guilty and im wondering if that guilt is for hijack or for leaving them for so long.). Thandeka and Katlego decided to tell Nonhlanhla about what happened, well they phoned her. In the morning katlego was all vibe and full of ernegy , she decided to go to rehearsals (even though Thandeka didn’t like it but she couldn’t stop her). Nonhlanhla and Mbatha came just before Katlego leave, she also told them she is going to work, that life goes on but you could see worry in everybody’s face including her. She was hiding fear and Thandeka called that Traumatic Euphorbia (they said this fear will catch with Katlego later, poor ngwana

Back to Katherine’s home (that is where my intro come from), Katherine’s mom thought it was too dangerous for her glass daughter to be here in SA because of this accident and because of the colour of her skin(as if it doesn’t happen in other countries), she was suggesting that she must go back overseas (but I thought that was Katlego’s car). Well Katherine’s told her mom that those guys were targeting Katlego and crime does affect black people (I wish everybody could see it this way). They argued but at the end they make up.

Back in the theatre you cud see that katlego was angry, but she was good though but her energy was a bit too much And good news is Lesedi is working on the claim for Katlego's car, so she might get a new one

Vuyo and Thabani

They had some chart about their kiss and nothing more happened but hey those two dudes are so much in love, they were teasing each other about the kiss and it was so cool … there is a stranger who is always writing something and keeping an eye on Vuyo when she is practicing .. and Vuyo has noticed that, my thinking tells me that he might be the source of even greener pastures for Vuyo and so i wish.

Mirriam, Buli and Vuyo

Ntombi payed Mirriam a visit, she gave her a list of available vacancies, so she had to make some calls. Well she did and she was invited for 4 interviews (tough neh Mirriam). Tat’ Ngcobo (bhuti vusi, Spaza man) wished her luck, wrote her a CV, recommended himself as a reference (how sweet he is) then he gave a taxi fare. Well she went to town for those interviews, the first interview in a restaurant didn’t go well, but the second one (so I think) went well, so she was hired for a cleaner position in some hotel(hey Mirriam uclever neh ... when she was asked why she left her last job, she said she had family problem whereas the family had problems about her, she was a family problem hihihihi). Later, at home she told Buli about this well she was somehow disappointed bcos she thought her mom will be a hotel receptionist (nobody can blame a gal for aiming too high), Since Mirriam will be required to work night shift, she suggested that Buli will go and stay with cousin Reginah (well I don’t know and haven’t seen this person, but Buli didn’t like this at all). She left her mom, went out to cry (how can she be so spoilt, in this kind of situation, she is somehow unreasonable). Vuyo came for a weekend and she was happy to hear good news from and about her mom, she went out and talk to Buli, she promised her that she will try something for her, maybe a boarding school (Shem Big sister, she is real so fond of her sister) . Well on their conversation it happened that Buli asked about Thabani and hihihihihii Vuyo was all smiles, you could see the answer in her face (Jealous down, you can act Brenda Ngxoli). The gal is soooo inlove and it so real

Cherrise, Daniel, Mrs and Mr Vantoner

Mrs Vantoner asked her hubby to come see their grand daughter but hubby said he will only come to fetch her and bring her where he belonged (that mr vantoner has Faro heart). Daniel was admitted in prison hospital and he was fighting with his lawyer, telling her he wanna go out and prove that he is innocent and cherries is a lier (I just wonder how, wish they can keep him there as much as they can). And Cherrise is worried that Daniel might come out of jail (oh poor Cherrise).

Crystal and Her family

Daddy(the character played by Zane) came to the hospital to pay her daughter a visit, when she asked why daddy said he was there to tell her that she can stay as much as she wants with them. Well crystal was not convinced that this was the reason he came to see her. She asked her daddy what is it that he is doing late at night and he said he has some clients that he need to attend to. Well back at home daddy did it again and mom is not bothered by her husband’s sudden late working hours, well Crystal has the experience of the cheating husband so she knows the signs, she decided to follow her dad and yes her intuition was right dad is cheating, she went back and tell her sister Megan.
