Eish I’m so angry with Technology… I slept @ 00:45 refining this particular blog and posting it. This morning I checked and it was not there… so I had to repost it - as I’m doing now!! Good thing I copy and paste my work before it gets posting it – just in case the PC decides to mess with me… sigh…. It went like this…

Hi people I'm back for the 7-11 May Isidingo Recap. This was when we were anxiously waiting to see if Nandipha will wake up and if Parson’s will be back home in time. So if you missed Isidingo last week, let me fill in the blanks….Okay where do I start….

Nandipha’s Lactic acidosis has dropped to 6 which is a good thing right? She still wanted Parsons to be there by her side, but he’s nowhere to be found. When she kept on asking where he was, Ma’Agnes told her he’s gone to London on business. At first she didn’t understand because she knows that Parsons wouldn’t just leave for business while she was in hospital. She also had too many questions about what’s wrong with her. Dr. Havel then gave her a biology lesson about how Lactic Acidosis develops. She mentioned the Mitochondria and how it relies on oxygen to perform. What I remember from my biology classes was “the mitochondria are the powerhouse of a cell”. I won’t give you a Bio lesson; let me stick to something I remember.

I am relieved that Nan’ is getting better, but it seemed like every time she stressed she got severe stomach cramps, it was later revealed that she’s has an opportunistic infection called Pancreatitis. When she phoned Parsons, they were so happy to hear from each other and she begged him to come home, mara Parson was being stubborn telling her that he’ll come home when he gets what he went there for. Nandipha begged and begged and eventually got the pain again. Her lactic acidosis dropped further to 3, which was more reason why Parsons should’ve come back home and stay out of trouble.

Calvin is worried about Bobo who hasn’t been coming to his karate classes. It then turned out that Bobo was stabbed six times and is dead. This obviously affected him(Calvin) badly, it also affected Paul. Calvin vowed not to give up on the other kids from the shelter. Paul on the other hand feels guilty that Bobo is dead because of him (sigh..no comment). Even though I found this whole gang story boring, it has made me see Calvin in a new light. That boy can act shem. Isidingo should make his role permanent or if not, I’m sure we will be seeing a lot of him in our TV screens. I still think that ENGEN ad didn’t do him justice – but I guess we all have to start somewhere right? Another good thing is he and Natasha are getting along well. They even had a one on one chat – sweet man. Eish I know its not easy getting along with your man’s children, I don’t know how I would handle it… Ey..if I ever find myself in that situation, I pray that Gaad give me strength and patience.

Stelllllllaaaaaaaa!!!!!! She’s back!! She went to fetch her order from THE REC and spoke about the Bedfordview people going for 3 days without electricity. It was nice seeing her again. But that’s all she said, she was brought back for those up to date scenes. You know when they talk about things that are currently happening?? Like actual sports games that took part or something in the news… I like that “going extra mile” about Isidingo.

Natasha is still going to pitch for the talk show. Frank was doubting her, they had a fight. Paul didn’t think she’ll pull it off. So to cut this story short – she went on it on her own and she got some advice from Calvin about how she should see her interviewees. Seemed his advice worked because Natasha got a thumbs up for the new show. She was given 12 weeks trial and the rest will be decided after that. Since they (Frank & Natasha) vowed to be celibate during Natasha’s preparation for her pitch (to avoid mixing business with pleasure), they kept the vow but, the celibacy vow was broken when Frank came home to a seductive Natasha in lingerie, so I guess we can all guess what happened after that. (Yes.. they started kissing and the director went "CUT!!! Perfect.. next scene!!" Dont tell me you actually think they went all the way... Dr Havel also told her that she’s putting her on another brand of ARV’s that won’t give her lactic acidosis. Nandipha was finally told the real reason why Parsons is in London. Now she’s asking the same questions Parsons asked about “V”. )

Anton has gone missing (Oh Gaad!!! When are they leaving Isidingo???). Farrow thinks Cherel has something to do with it. She said Anton left a message on the bathroom mirror, written with…wait for it……Lipstick!!! It read "…If that bitch is alive then I can’t live...!" When did Anton turn into a Psycho?? Geez dude, you don’t leave messages like that to your sister! Lolly feels obligated to find Anton (sigh – Len was right, she’s still young and can quickly change careers to become a social worker, saving everyone that has been affected by Cherel De Villiers. I also feel she should just mind her own business). Even Frank told her to stop chasing a dead story and concentrate on other stories. (Yes please Lolly, Cherel is gone – forever – let’s move on please). Huuu thank God Lolly got rid of the fringe hairstyle because she looked like that Dina Rodriguez who was all over the news last week! Farrow then got a suicidal email from Anton. Eish technology, people are sending suicidal emails these days?? Does he even know that some emails don’t get delivered?? .

I was never a fan of this Anton story so I kinda lost interest somewhere there. Lolly had to id a body at a morgue but it wasn’t Anton, she then got a call that there’s an unconscious man at Joburg Gen’ Hospital. It was Anton, he was hit by a car, crashed his knees, affected his spinal chord and he might have brain damage… (great can he die now!!)

Rajesh "I may be a father" Kumar overheard Farrow and Lolly (who had the fringe again) talking about the possibility of Cherel being behind this all. He then asked Farrow for the email Anton sent to verify if it was from him or if it could've been sent by someone else (like Cherel). Farrow now has her hopes up that Cherel is responsible for Anton being in hospital. Lolly and Rajesh are now chasing after ghost Cherel…sigh… clearly they need to get a life...Or maybe they should be an item

Parson’s drug dealer or supplier, Ayo came to see Parsons. I think I recognize his face as one of the male models on the ramps and magazine. But you know how it is, we never know their name. To cut a long story short. He came through for Parsons and gave him “V” worth 500 British pounds. He also gave him a surgical tape and asked him to strap the pills on his inner thigh to avoid them being found by snuffer dogs. His reply was “Hee??? Haai maan”!(Parsons?? did you think you were just going to carry illegal pills into the country, nje..?) He also told Parsons that he’s happy relieving the pills from the greedy British who are putting profit over people, instead of saving Africa. So he’s happy that he’s helping Parsons’ noble deed, from one African brother to another. He helped him out, even if it meant he could loose his job as an intern at that hospital.

Ma’Agnes phoned Parsons again and tried to convince him to come back, he told his mother that he got what he came for and will be on the next flight to South Africa. Isn’t it funny that there’s no TV watching or radio listening in soapies. But the moment they switch one of them on, it’s something that relates to them.Heathrow airport. Then he started panicking.

As he was getting ready to go to the airport strapped the drugs to his thigh, and kept on jumping up and down to make sure that they don’t fall. He arrived at the airport and was on the Customs queue. I really thought it was Heathrow airport, I then wondered why London has an Afrikaner looking security guard. Then it turned out that he was in South Africa. I guess it was the Horizon Deep Airport because it didn’t look familiar to me. While waiting in line, Parson kept on looking over his shoulders, I guess it was paranoia, he thought people were looking at him. So he decided to leave the queue and run to the toilet. He un-strapped the pills from his thigh and was about to flush them down the toilet when she stopped himself. He then strapped them on again. When he went back on the line, he was cleared. As he was about to leave, his smile was gone when the Custom’s manager told him to come with him. “Mara why hee?? What’s wrong??” he asked.

When they got to that little room, he was told that he looked suspicious as he ran to the bathroom and took along time there. He was asked to strip. It was at the moment when he was down to his red underwear when I sang HHP's line “Wa mo bona ke le Pakistani with a hectic bootey….BOOOTEY!!!” Yoh haai no Parson’s has gained weight yong! I just wished he was in black underwear, red was a bit disturbing – maybe that’s what emphasized the ezzie!! Haai men with huge ezzies are scary, I don’t want to compete with a man ka booty hop!! Ok enough booty trashing….!! Parsons was arrested for drug smuggling. Vusi was waiting when an announcement that anyone who’s waiting for Parsons Matabane should report to the Information desk.

At the police station:
Zeb was right: we hear all the time about dangerous drugs being smuggled in the country but when Parsons does it with good intentions and he gets caught. So he will remain in custody until he is sentenced. Dr. Havel tried to speak to Niemand about why Parsons did what he did – he was only trying to save his dying wife. Parsons on the other hand is not sorry of what he did. He said if he had to, he'll do it again. NO REGRETS!!

That’s all the drama from last week – watch ISIDINGO this week and see how the stories unfold. If you can’t watch, don’t worry, I’ll be back again next week to fill in the blanks…!!

So if you were Parsons, what would you have done differently to avoid getting caught? I would’ve flushed them down the toilet. Eish mina ngiyigwala (I scare easily)…

Holler… I need to see how creative you can get.

Lahvee…
