Neville is frustrated when he hears that Charmaine left for the Vic Falls before he could speak to her since his spent the last week dancing around his feelings to Charmaine. Robyn desperately tries to cover her tracks by transferring funds and closing bank accounts while San-Mari is still tied up in her loft as she holds the girl hostage, rumours have it that she was beaten down, this is ofcourse just rumours. To allow herself to get away and for them not to catch her out or find San-Mari, Robyn gives Altus and Danny the afternoon off and they grow even more suspicious, but still they take the day off. When they put two and two together , which takes them a good half an hour or so, they rush off to find San-Mari, but Robyn has left already. No action, no drama- nothing! Jan-Hendrik and Madel leave for Paris, the two thought in the middle of crisis, a holiday was needed and Dezi is determined to save the boutique while they are gone.
Altus and Danny learn that Robyn is the same woman who embezzled funds from San-Mari’s father’s business. Altus is determined to find her, but it seems that she has already left the country and left no traces of her wherabouts. Smart bright barney bitch! He breaks the news to Dezi and they desperately try to reach Jan-Hendrik in Paris, but they cannot reach him with the news about Robyn and it affects T & T. Altus and Danny realise that without Robyn, Kyriakis De Lange will probably close down, which means they both unemployed. Since I [Zinzi] has left OppieK, Charmaine is looking to hire, maybe one of them will get lucky. New waitor, Diederik has been recieving loads of calls on his cell, wait till Charmaine finds out and his fired, then the two from KDL will def get lucky with a job at OppiK, anway Diedreik is panicky about the gambling and asks for an advance on his salary from Kabelo who is now all of a sudden in charge since my abscence.
Jan-Hendrik is furious when he hears that Robyn has disappeared with their R2 Mill! Eish, imagine what I could do with that?! End my dead end job and go on holiday around the world! Altus and Danny try their best to keep matters as normal as possible at Kyriakis De Lange and not worry clients and potential business. Xander speaks to Robyn’s attorney, but why can't he tell them where Robyn is or get the cops onto him?! Xander hears Kyriakis De Lange will be closing it’s doors, and she provided three months’ payment to Altus and Danny, how very nice of Robyn, not. Vanessa calls from Zimbabwe with bad news and it wasn't because her hairs looking worse there: Charmaine fell and had to be air lifted to hospital. The news some how reaches Neville's ears (and it wasn't through me!) Neville is shocked when he hears about this and decides to go to Zimbabwe to be with Charmaine. Matrone is determined to write her own autobiography and Mandla is amused- could sparks be flying between Matandla?.
Matrone decides to manage Oppiekoffie until Charmaine is back and the waiters have to be on their toes (it was the worse few days of my life, she's such a female work hitler!) Charmaine is surprised when Neville arrives at her bedside in hospital. Neville is emotional and admits that he realised he cannot and does not want to live without her. Big
Skinner; He tells Charmaine he loves her. He proposes to her and Charmaine is stunned. Altus and Danny are disappointed that Kyriakis De Lange is closing down. Jan-Hendrik tries his best to get a flight back home, but has no luck, we here at the Times are concerned about where in the airport is he sleeping!
Charmaine declines Neville’s marriage proposal. Ag no, this is not the Charmaine I worked for! She feels he is acting on his emotions only and that he hasn’t thought it through. He should go to America and get perspective – if he still feels the same about her she will reconsider. Heartbroken to hear the tragic news, I suspected all long! Paula, Mandla and Aggie are surprised when Neville is back from Zimbabwe so soon and wonders what happened between him and Charmaine.
Jan-Hendrik is still stuck in Paris and is doing everything in his power to get back to South Africa. Altus is worried about his future and Xander suggests he starts his own enterprise. Although Altus likes the idea, he doesn’t want to get his hopes up before he has done his homework.
Matrone puts all her energy into her memoirs and reminisces happily about her colourful life, as if it was so interesting that she had to drop OppieK, not that I am complaining. San-Mari opens up to Marko and tells him about her dad’s drinking problem. Marko finds the new, vulnerable San-Mari irresistible and comforts her gently- Ooo I am seeing possible future Romance- remember your heard it here at 'Gossip Queen'!. Danny helps Altus to get his ducks in a row before going to the bank about his own business. Vince is upset with his dad and believes he messed things up with Charmaine yet again. Neville doesn’t tell him what actually happened, but is clearly hurt about how things worked out. He wants to get away as soon as possible and leaves for America right away with a small goodbye. Neville is allegedly going for 2-3 months, Paula, Mandla and Aggie are currently reigning hell here at the Times.
