What's Been Happening?
Roman enters and explains that someone built an exact replica of Salem on a tropical island and the "murdered" were transported here and have been held hostage- the all are on holiday, but each believe its captive hell, because they are seperated from thier 'loved ones'.
It is said that Jack went out to find a way off the island and has never returned, the fear he is dead, or have left the designated area and cannot return. Marlena and Roman discuss who could be behind this diabolical plot and naturally they suggest Stefano. Suddenly the penthouse doors lock and a noise is heard; Roman tells Marlena that someone else in Salem will be here soon, and still no one has arrived.
Marlena awakes from her first night. Roman has stayed with her and is wearing "John's" PJ's (yes old men wear PJs) but they bear Roman's monogram- a sign Marlena believes that could give them clue and insight about the island. Yes Marlena was reading too much into everything again. Nicole is horrified when Crystal (her friend whom in prison, she organised to lead Marlena to her death) shows up at the Kiriakis Mansion, after Nicole posts her bail.
John thinks Crystal could be Nicole's accomplice in Victor's murder and is determined to prove this. Jan is still trying to seduce a locked up Shawn in her love cage (nothing new except the odd dreaming about escaping.) Shawn had many times to escape but useless, he failed. At Theo's 1st birthday party, TEK arrives with a letter for Lexie from Abe with a present to Theo, urging Lexie to move on with her life, Lexie is abit taken back because of this. Celeste touches Abe's letter and tells Lexie that Abe is not dead. Lexie is angry that her mother would put her through this! Soon Lexie forgets everything and undresses TEK and gets him in the show (because he has baby paint on his clothes). She later invites him for drinks at the Blue Note.
John decides to do investigate Crystal hoping that she will be lead . Nicole plays on Brady's feelings and he offers to take her out for a drink at the Blue Note- the only Bar in Salem! Nicole then spots Crystal with John and hauls her away afraid Crystal will spill the dirt once she's drunk. While they're gone, John takes a fingerprint sample of Crystal's off the Champagne glass and takes them to TEK to examine. They do not match those found at the Kiriakis Mansion, but they do learn that she was in jail with Marlena.
Bo and Hope find an earring in Shawn's loft which hasn't been cleaned in months (since Valentines Day). Rex, whos attending Night Classes to be a Bartender, pulls a partial print that matches those found at the Kiriakis Mansion after Victor's murder. Jan intends to kill Belle and heads off with a gun because of Shawn's constant whining about her.
Kate offers Belle and Philip a top position to work together in Basic Blakc. Belle and Philip are having what appears to be a romantic dinner, organised by Kate, together when Jan arrives. She snaps pictures of the two who look like a romantic couple to break Shawn's heart and in hope he will get over Belle.
Jennifer gets a text message that reads on her magical laptop "it's Jack and I'm alive!" Abe and Roman search unmask an intruder -- Tony DiMera! They assume Tony is behind their captivity, but he denies it. Tony tells everyone that he thinks Marlena holds the key to their captivity.
