We are back at Horizon Deep this week. The housing project is on the way and Ronnie Nkosi has already started surveying the land. The Matabanes realised that Ronnie is one step ahead of them. They decide to stop talking and just take action.
In a bidding meeting Ronnie asked if it is necessary for him to be at that meeting to compete with the Matabanes when they have home ground advantage and that they are related to Vusi. Vusi assured him that the final decision will be transparent and will not be made by him only. The battle fields are drawn and Ma'Agnes is on a trip to find out about this Ronnie character.
Parsons overheard Slu and Georgie talking about getting a licence for the casino that will be built. Parsons then ran home to tell Mommy and Daddy. Ma'Agnes now thinks this is another battle the community must fight.
She says the Casino will take away the little salaries earned and take away the food from the mouths of the children. Eish, ever since she won against that Barker Waste Dump thing, now she thinks she can save the world - with the help of her sidekick Mr. (Watchumacallit) Washington.
Meanwhile back in Jozi; Barker drew up a contract to formalize the Casino partnership between him and Georgie (who had his famous shirt with a hint of purple & purple pants - hbbbrrrr - couldn’t see the shoes - I wonder if they were purple suede shoes).
The contract stated that Bra Georgie will only get 25% of the profits. Georgie only found this out when he took the contract home to have his people (Slu) look at it. Georgie told Slu "Barker dink ek is 'n moemish".
He then went straight to Barker with his copyrights (i.e. two mean looking men) named Boomslang Mugabe and his brother Tuinslang Mugabe. He told Barker that if he doesn’t change the contract to 50-50 the two "slangs" will make sure Barker is in an ambulance. So Barker called his lawyer and did as Georgie asked.
Len is getting more and more frustrated with his rape case. Cherel believes in Len's innocence - which is sweet. I heard she's leaving Isidingo, so she's becoming a sweet Cherel to bow out smelling like flowers?? hmm??.
Back to Len: apparently 7 days after Sandi went to hospital for tests, Sandi had bruises, which is, according to Len's Lawyer as good as a sign of rape. He even went as far as telling the lawyer that he likes it "hardcore and kinky" yooh!! Len can’t remember much about that night, he can't even remember if he used a condom or not. Things got worse for him when Len's story hit the front page of a local newspaper.
Frank & Lee wanted to know if there are more skeletons in his closet and found out he was bisexual and did coke now and then. He revealed that he also belonged to a DIONYSUS (Greek god of sex, wine and intoxication) group.
I did a quick Google search on him and I copy and pasted: "Dionysus made two exciting discoveries. 1) How to make wine. 2) How to make orgasms which could drive you to the brink of madness.” Interesting.
This group would go to the Drakensburg to smoke mushrooms and have orgies...and we are not talking less than 5 people... it was orgies between....wait for it.. 40 - 50 people. Haai I wonder if that really happens in real life. Lee & Frank are hoping that the media doesn’t find out about this. Len was hit with a protection order all because he called Sandi and left a message on her phone.
Sandi's mom is still very irritating, she told Lolly to leave her daughter alone. There's something about that woman - Sandi does everything her mother says because "she's always right and its better that way".
When Sandi met with Lolly privately she retold a different story that went something like this: "We were making out and kissing on his bed, it was fun, and then Len suggested that we try a little tying up for fun. He tied my hands to the headboard, and that's when he got hectic and didn’t want to stop". She even managed to wipe a tear that was never there.
I don’t know if it was bad acting or she just couldn’t fake the tears anymore. Lolly rushed home and Len caught her in his room. She wanted to see if he has a headboard coz hers is brown and doesn’t go with her sheets and maybe they could swap. "Well I don’t have a headboard" Len screamed. Ahaa!!!! l I guess that's it then, Sandi Ross is lying! But I knew that all along!!!
The hunt for Ma'Agnes' birthday present (real silk) is on. Apparently real silk is made in China (but everything is made in China!?! Why do u think we call fakes fong kongs? That's coz its easy to fake something you made). Zeb saw Ma'Agnes' sleeping gown yak'daalllaaaa (very old) which makes her skin itch if she's just wearing it on its own, she must wear long sleeve under the gown.
Zeb then got an idea of buying her a silk gown and Maggie suggested matching sleepers. He bought a soft silk polyester gown, which Maggie told him to take it back coz its not real silk, its as good as plastic. Zeb said he took the gown coz it said "made in china". Now him and Maggie will ask Slu to find the silk as he is half Chinese.
Now for the juicy bits: Vusi asked Paul about this married "friend" of his who had a one night. He wants advice on whether the "friend" should tell his wife on not. Paul told Vusi that the "friend" should just keep quiet, only if he swears not to do it again. Then he (Paul) later told Vusi that maybe its better for the "friend" to tell the wife (this was after Paul asked for advice from Lolly & Nandipha).
Vusi eventually told Paul who the friend is, i.e. he confessed it was him. He lied to Lettie that he was in a business meeting while he was at a bar with Paul, I guess he was too scared to face her. When he got home drunk he looked stupid and I realised that there are wives out there who deal with this everyday.
I then made a lil' prayer: "Lord please, if I do finally get married, don’t give me a sdakwa please" coz I think I wouldn’t handle it." Already seen how it could be like with an ex... Don’t think I want a hubby like that. But we forgive Vusi, he's just a guilty man. Ok no we don’t forgive him, he cheated dammit.
After long deliberations between Parsons & Nandipha, they decided to confront Lettie about her "cheating". Parson told Lettie that he believes that she's having an affair and she must stop it. Told her that he based it all on the fact that she's been having late meetings, buying perfumes and lingerie! Ofcoz he had no proof on who this guy is, it was at that moment that Vusi walked in.
Lettie laughed it off and told Vusi what Parsons had just said, Vusi was bothered but Lettie was just laughing, "Me?, my love, an affair?, I mean really".
After the talk with Paul, Vusi came home to a loving Lettie then told her he's got something to tell her............cut to the next day on the breakfast table...Lettie is not there..... she later walks in and says to Vusi (in front of everyone) ... "were u goin to keep this to yourself?"... oh oh, Vusi: "what are u talking about?"....Lettie: "The fact that u entered Neo in a bike-a-thon" ....eish...(they did that on purpose).... then Lettie told the family that Vusi looked like he was about to drop the bomb on her last night but only to tell her that he's going to Cape Town for a conference...so obviously he didn’t confess.
Siyanda asked for advice from Lee, bout this perfect-happily ever after guy that she likes. She told Lee that all was going well between her & this man, but now he's pulling away. Lee then innocently gave her advice that she must fight for this man with everything she's got. Turns out that is exactly what Ms. Mazibuko was thinking about. So in her "im not giving up" spirit, Siyanda told Vusi she wants.... and I quote... round 2.
Eish I kinda admire a woman who knows what she wants and just how to get it (reminded me of a song). Let's admit it.. Men are weak and we can make them do all kinds of things, depends ofcoz on how u play your game...uVusi told her he's married (again), but that is not an excuse for Siyanda anymore, she don’t care if he's married or not ... she told him that she's not asking him to marry her.... all she wants to do is get her freak on with Vusi! (no, she didn’t say the latter part)!
Oooh.. he's in trouble... this Lioness got her prey and she's not about to take out her claws... all I am waiting for is a cat fight with Lettie...mmeeeeaaauuuuuww... cant wait...hope Lettie doesn’t have her wig on that day!
We'll just have to wait...again... for these stories to unfold... !!!
