 The Final Thing

Well, here it is. The Big Hurrah. The Last Stand. The thing where I say a lot of pre-ambly crap to try to heighten the tension, where you could just as easily scroll way way down and find the -.. hey! Don't scroll down yet! Don't- Dammit... sigh.

Right, so, let's have a look at a few things first.

 Winner Poll

No one guessed Aras every week, so no one had the full 875 points.  Spare a thought, however, for Six. Six picked Aras every week, except for Week 9, when she didn't play!  Despite this, Six tops our Winner Poll, followed by Shy Fly, who picked Aras every week but missed two weeks' play. Shakes came in third.

 Weekly Scores

With their huge scores last week (achieved by guessing all of the jury votes), it's no surprise who comes out tops of this section. Sunshine is way, way out front, with Shirmell in second place. Devigirl was pretty consistent too, and takes third place.

Incidentally, Sunshine finished first 4 times this season. Pisces finished first 3 times (out of only 5 starts!), and Devilgirl, Megan, and Batchick finished first twice.

In terms of top 3 finishes, Sunshine is again in the front, with 6. Shirmell, Pisces and Shakes have 5 top 3 finishes, and Devilgirl has 4.

FINAL LEADERBOARD

Well, let's get to it, shall we?

It's been an amazing race (heh) to the end, and while it's been super close all season, the winner has won by over 300 points. After an amazing final week, consistently finishing in the top 3, and having a pretty good winner poll, our wiiner, ladies and gentlemen, is:

 Sunshine!

Congratulations on sneaking up and stealing it at the final stretch. That was an way to end your season.

Let's not forget the rest of the players. Earthie finished really strongly too, and took second place. Devilgirl, as always, was not far behind, and took third. Our biggest jumper of the week was Shirmell, who took 4th place, and fifth spot belonged to Megan, who played so brilliantly for so long but was just nudged out by some strong play at the end.

Looking at the rest of the Top 10: Shakes finally managed to nudge Fingolfin into 7th; Batchick, our first leader, and unfortunately spoiled at the last moment, ended in a respectable 8th. Paige hung on to her top 10 spot, and Citanul, despite being spoiled a few weeks ago, managed to keep his top 10 spot.
