Episode 6x01: Zod

Wow, what a great season opener. What else can one expect from Smallville. Some people will say that the show has weaken and others would say that it's getting stronger.

I honestly didn't think that Clark would escape the Phantom Zone so quickly, thought he might be stuck there for an episode or two.  Raya grabbed my attention and was surprised when it looked as if she was double crossing Clark. I think it would have been great if she could have escaped with him, but instead some nasty things escape with him. I think we'll see them probably during the season.

I don't know how many of you may have noticed this but I could be wrong. Didn't Jor-El's voice sound different than the previous season. I couldn't believe when he said he couldn't have asked a better person to look after his son but if you think about it he kinda destroyed that family too when he let Jonathan died. That is what I call gratitude.

Lana's one of my favourite characters.  I felt sorry for her when Zod nailed her hand to the wall, that must of hurt. Isn't it strange that Lana always run back to Clark for help. She went looking for him and found Martha and Lional. Then agrees to kill Zod who took over Lex's body. I think a stupid move she made was when she agreed to his request by giving him a child. I mean he could see right through her, that she was planning to do something to him.

One character that is starting to grow on me is Chloe. I never liked her that much but I think she has grown up a bit. I will always root for Clark and Lana but I guess we all know that isn't in the cards for them.

I enjoyed Clark and Zod's little fight. Why is it that people always lose their conciencenous when Clark is about to save the day. i'm talking now about Lana. I mean he put something right throuh her hand and she didn't pass out but when Zod grabbed her by the neck and lifted her, and when Clark came in and Zod dropped her she passed out.

Zod

Don't know if I trust Lional though. He said to Martha that he doesn't feel Jor-El anymore but at the end he draws the symbols but he looked surprised.

Kinda like the sweet moment between lois and Clark when he hold her hand and when he realised it he let go. They are kinda sweet together but I still vote for Lana.  It seem  that Clark will be unlucky in love. Just as he goes to Chloe to talk about that kiss in last season, he meets Jimmy. I think that Clark and Chloe are a miss match anyway.

Okay, this is it. I will see you guys again next week. Until then. Take care!!
