It all started with the breakfast at the Bullers ofcoz. I swear it never bothered me that they had breakfast @ 18:30. Hmm but watching it on Saturday morning (yes Saturday – cricket) I found my self making toast and craving muffins. Damn the Bullers. Horizon Deep is celebrating the success of the community meeting to fight against Barker. He wants to turn HD into a Horizon Dump, but the HD community aint havin' none of that. Thanks to community leader Ma’Agnes and Mr. “Watchu’ma’call’it”, hehehe, who’s that man? He’s funny.
Meanwhile back at ON. An intern has joined ON, Sandi Ross is her name and it wasn’t clear what her game was - well it still isn't. That was until Len Cooper was assigned as her “supervisor” to show her the ON ropes. To cut a long story short Len & Sandi were quick to find each other’s ON buttons. They went to Len’s place after a couple of drinks. Cut to the next morning – Ms. Sandi Ross is OFF. And OFF she went to tell Frank that she’s laying a charge of sexual harassment against Len. Now we all know that this is a very sensitive issue, especially sexual harassment in the workplace. When is it really sexual harassment? I trust Isidingo to clarify this for the masses. That’s the education side of Isidingo, u know how they do. Shame Len, he felt like Akon after smacking that, but Ms. Sandi was on sum “I swear if u touch me again I’ll scream”. Yoh!! drama princess. We’ll see how the case pans out. So Len has been suspended until further notice.
Can we please put a face to this Mavis and Mrs. Qunukwebe that Ma’Agnes is always talking about? Mavis is always being told what to do at the Req: "Mavis 1 special please", "Mavis we need more potatoes for the chips" haai no.
Lettie has gone to Cape Town. Frank sent her to cover some conference, he says she’s not just a pretty face, she must go out there and prove herself. Good Luck to her. She also told her mom that she needs some time away from Vusi and Sisanda. Girlfriend is feeling very insecure bout their “work” relation. I say a woman’s instinct is never wrong, or kanjani ladies?? Am I right or am I right?
Rajesh & Cherel are going away to uMhlanga for a weekend. Now Cherel wants to meet the Kumars (@ number 42). Poor Rajesh I can already see it: “Ma, dad. Meet Cherel. Remember her? She’s my ex-girlfriend’s ex-step mother who murdered her step son who was her ex-lover”. I tell you Rajesh must just call AVBOB, coz there’ll be 2 funerals and no wedding. Cherel is jealous of the Rajesh’s and Lee’s new found peace. So she’s trying by all means to get closer to Rajesh and what better way to make things official that meeting the man’s parents.
The D-day came, will HD become a HD?? Barker vs. Vusanda (with the HD community). It’s the Board meeting that Horizon Deep has been waiting for. Presentations were done, my favorite scene was when Ma’Agnes came into the boardroom with community members. Barker then said “Please tell me they are not here to toyi –toyi”. I think that was just used to break the tension. (Shame on you Barker, that’s not all that black people do, right Bantus!!??!!). At the end of it all, VUSANDA won!!
In a nutshell, Sisanda wants a piece of Moletsane. She gave him a choice; “I’m going to the ladies, and if I find you when I get back, we going to my place”. Yoh..!!! Talk about go-gettering!! Let’s see if Vusi will be “a man”!! I know u get me but I’m gonna break it down anyway. Will he be a man and remember that he’s married and go home, OR, will he be a man and eat from the silver platter. We’ll just have to wait – but I aint holding my breath. Me thinks Vusi is still angry at Lettie for cheating with Tumis…, I mean Dumisane Thusong! So maybe he wants to settle the score. I swear I’ll hate him if he uses that line.
