Cirie Versus Danielle: Who Will Burn?

The Cruelty of Jeff is too much! If the painful suffering of this cliffhanger's anything to go by we're literally going to die from thrillage watching the finale next week.

All I know is that Cirie has to, has to, has to kick the teeth out of Danielle and spark up a blazing fire like no other. When Cirie makes it she’ll defs be in the final two no matter what.

If Terry wins the final Immunity he’ll obviously take her to the end after the ego-manic battle between him and Aras.

On one hand it was ultra cringeworthy seeing them going so alpha-beserk in the Reward Challenge but on another I fully understood how Terry was feeling and why he got so iffy.

His aggitation and frustration erupted right from the start when he returned with everyone after Shane’s whacking. His angry response to Cirie dropping her torch in front of him was an over-reaction but it was also understandable considering the amount of time he’s been ganged-up on.

I’d respond in exactly the same way if I’d spent weeks with no-one I could talk to or trust. Any little incident would set me off knowing I had to spend yet another miserable night with a triumphant clique of three against me.

The thing that was so horrible about it was seeing my two faves going at it the way he and Cirie did. It was very stressful and difficult to watch.

The only consolation is that I could take out all my blame and fury on the Pig responsible for it all - Aras!

He was unbelievably even worse this week than he was last. At least last week he had a smigden of dignity left but this week he threw every bit of it away in favour of making nasty, untrue, statements about Terry and then - farting the way he did after he and Cirie got back from the reward.

The disrespect he showed both Cirie and us through that was shocking and his apology to Terry afterwards was clearly planned and carefully orchestrated to make sure Terry kept looking bad. Actually, just picturing it again - Terry held himself back in a very admirable way - he should just clobbered him out of his mind once and for all.

I didn’t have one clue what was happening during the Reward Challenge with all those ropes and clips and puzzles they had to keep untangling but it didn’t matter. The point of it was that Aras listened to Jeff properly whereas Terry was thinking about other stuff instead and suffered his first defeat as a result.

Aras taking Cirie on the trip wasn’t a surprise 'cos of how arrogant he is. He gave Terry and Danielle a perfect opportunity of aligning but he's so overly confident he didn’t care. It really sucked seeing him get such a cool reward. How kooky are canals? Whenever I see such feats of engineering I get very freaked out all over again by how brilliant some brains are.

While Aras and Cirie travelled the Panama Canal, Danielle and Terry were on Exile Island where Danielle realised the only way for her to possibly make it to the final two was to align with Terry.

Aras and Cirie got back from their trip, Cirie chuckled and said she was happy to be home and Aras collapsed on their bed and got disgusting while Cirie lit her first fire.

Terry and Danielle returned from Exile Island and then Terry called Aras aside and told him he needed an apology from him for him saying that Terry badmouths women.

It really is too incredible that Aras was able to stoop to that kind of scum level to upset Terry. Imagine how terrible it would be if you were battling it out alone, never said anything derogatory about anyone and then found yourself on the receiving end of someone just making up something so evil.

Once it was all over Aras rambled some rubbish about how the incident made them closer and then it was off to the Immunity Challenge that involved them finding puzzle bags in the sand by working out complex co-ordinates. Aras was way out ahead most of the time, Danielle was useless, Cirie was okay and Terry almost caught up with Aras but didn’t.

Luckily for him it wasn’t a prob ‘cos it was the last time he could use his hidden immunity and it wouldn’t have been as groovy if he already had immunity. Plus it wouldn’t have resulted in the current showdown between Cirie and Danielle and Cirie would be gone.

As they waited to go to Tribal Council, all four of them knew the votes were gonna be evenly split, assumed it would be a fire-making battle as happened with Stephenie and whoever (I’ve forgotten?) and both practised firing madly.

Then it was off Tribal Council where I suddenly remembered the jury. I was so into what was hapening I forgot about their existence and enjoyed the surprise of remembering them. Seeing Shane again was hysterical - espesh considering how well he’s looking after only a few days. I assume his return to smoking’s been good for him. Could it actually be healthy??

Sally Socks was looking extra fab I thought - so tanned and happily shiny. As for that creepy ring of Courtney’s - it looked like a giant roach. So disgusting. They all look very suitably ready to get down and dirrrty for some feircely intense jurying next week. It was very interesting how Courtney was so clearly on Cirie’s side instead of Danielle’s.

This really highlights how genius Cirie’s been by skullduggerising the way she has without anyone having any issues with her at all.

And now all we can do is wait impatiently for the killer-fest of hours of watching next week. There’s the two-episode showdown that'll take us to the final two and the jury's deliberations and then it’s off to the Reunion Show, which should be about 30 minutes I reckon.

Gooo Cirie!
Gooo Terry!

May the best peep win.
