Impressive number for a Saturday evening broadcast. The network is up by over 100% in viewership compared to its performance last year this time.

-Ratings Breakdown:
College Football ruled on ABC, proving that viewers will indeed tune-in for programming of note on Saturday. The Notre Dame vs. USA match-up averaged 12.85 million viewers with a 4.4 rating/13 share among adults 18-49 in prime time. CBS finished second in households and total viewers, and third among adults 18-49 courtesy of a repeat of Criminal Minds (Viewers: #2, 8.10 million; A18-49: #3, 2.0/ 7), a repeat of CSI (Viewers: #2, 9.43 million; A18-49: #2, 2.5/ 8) and 48 Hours Mystery (Viewers: #2, 7.34 million; A18-49: #3, 2.0/ 6).

NBC finished last overall in total viewers and adults 18-49 as a result of a two-hour edition of Dateline (Viewers: #4, 5.64 million; A18-49: #4, 1.4/ 5 from 8-10 p.m.) and a repeat of Law & Order: SVU (Viewers: #3, 7.23 million; A18-49: #3, 2.0/ 6 at 10 p.m.). Fox, meanwhile, was on par with recent levels despite facing College Football with its male-oriented combination of Cops (Viewers: #3, 6.76 million; A18-49: #2, 2.6/ 9) and America’s Most Wanted (Viewers: #4, 6.11 million; A18-49: #3, 2.3/ 7).
