Season 3
Speeders is an American reality television series produced by Zoo Productions which turns the camera on manic motorists as they engage in high-speed chases and devise wild excuses for their reckless driving, seen through the eyes of the long-suffering highway patrol.
The series premiered in the USA on Court TV (now truTV) on 8 June, 2007. There are 59 half-hour episodes (and a pilot episode) in three seasons to date.
Speeders premieres in South Africa on DStv's Zone Reality channel on Thursday 20 November 2008, at 23h00. Season 3 has not yet aired in South Africa.
Synopsis
Get behind the wheel and go coast-to-coast with America's Finest, as they pull over unsuspecting speeders in a high-octane show that captures real-life motorists at their worst and most-embarrassed.
Chases, outrageous excuses, unbelievable confessions and unprovoked outbursts - all caught on tape.
Watch as police roar along in pursuit of those travelling at well over the speed limit. Be amazed by some of the incredible risks people take in order to avoid capture and laugh as you listen to the extraordinary excuses some people make.
