Season 3
Waking the Dead is a British television crime drama series created by Barbara Machin which follows the work of a special police team who investigate "cold cases", usually murders that took place a number of years ago and were never solved.
The series aired in the UK on BBC One from 4 September, 2000 to 11 April, 2011. There are 92 hour-long episodes in nine seasons.

Season 3
Chief Inspector Boyd reopens the files on eight more unsolved crimes in this series of gripping murder mysteries.
Challenges facing his crack team of investigators include a victim of child abuse seeking revenge for the death of his twin, a family murder with vital evidence to be recovered from the bottom of the sea, the increasing likelihood of a mystery second man involved in a high-street massacre, and a cult film tied to the discovery of four bodies in a Notting Hill house, 1960s gangsterland and the background history of one of the team.
With the best minds in psychology, forensics and detection on the case, if anyone can track down a killer years after a murder, they can.
