In pursuit of the terrorist organisation the Marquis, the Federation Starship Voyager is transported to the other side of the galaxy together with a Marquis ship.
Now the two conflicting crews must work together in order to get back home, a journey which will take seventy-five years.
The fourth Star Trek series to be created, Voyager is notable for being the first one with a female captain.
Although not as popular as The Next Generation or Deep Space Nine, Voyager was still highly praised, attracting a strong following.
