Season 44

Noot vir Noot, South Africa's longest running game show, is back for its 44th season with a new host for the first time since the show's inception - Emo Adams - who replaces Johan Stemmet.

The show still features all of the fan-favourite classic games, including "Stop die Klok", "Noot Assosiasie" and "Laslappie".

Contestants battle it out against one another. They put their music knowledge to the test by trying to be the first to answer the game questions and clues, performed by DJ Shelly (aka Rochelle de Bruyn).

Emo Adams brings his trademark comedic charm and humour to the role of presenter, creating a fresh and modern take on the legendary game show.

DJ Shelly provides the music clues on both her DJ decks as well as her keyboard. Her love for music and engagement with the contestants creates a new dynamic for the show.

Season 44 also features a new modern visual style. As part of the new season's evolution, the set has been redesigned to incorporate new technology such as video bars, which create an energetic party atmosphere.

A large DJ booth with LED screens is positioned opposite the contestant podiums, which allows for fun and engaging interaction between the host, DJ and contestants.

The new set also features a massive screen on which the games are played, another new element which has been added to the show.

This large game screen will further involve the viewers and encourage them to play along, making them feel part of the action.

The games are also depicted through the use of 3D graphics which are overlaid on the viewers' television screens. All of these elements serve to create a new fresh and modern look.

The stage on which the artists perform has also been enlarged and the audience seating has been brought closer to the stage so that the studio audience are up close and personal with their favourite singers while they perform.

This also creates a concert atmosphere which the viewers at home feel part of.

Speaking of the singers: each episode features a guest artist who performs one of their biggest or latest hits with their own live musicians and act.

Every show contains a new music act with different musicians each week, providing exciting variety on the new Noot vir Noot format.

The following guest artists perform in Season 44:

Snotkop
Refentse
Nádine
Jo Black
Kurt Darren
Kurt Herman
Liezel Pieters
Nicholis Louw
Bianca Le Grange
Corlea Botha
Clinton Viljoen

Noot vir Noot is produced by Stemmburg TV with Johan Stemmet serving as executive producer and studio director.
