Mary Mary is an American docu-reality television series produced by Entertainment One Television which follows the daily lives of sisters and musicians, Erica and Tina Campbell, as they work to balance their households and careers.
The series premiered in the USA on WE tv on 29 March, 2012.
The series originally premiered in South Africa on TopTV's Top One channel on Monday 5 November 2012, at 19h00. It later aired on e.tv. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.
Season 2 premiered on e.tv on Sunday 19 January 2014, at 16h00. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 13 episodes in the second season.
Season 2
Sisters Erica and Tina Campbell make up the multi-Grammy winning gospel duo Mary Mary. Balancing their busy lives as worldwide recording artists with the demands of being mothers and wives has never been harder.
Mary Mary is hitting the road to promote their new record, Go Get It, touring across the country, and preparing for the most important performance of their career as the first gospel group to perform on the main stage at the Essence Music Festival.
Mary Mary's manager, Mitchell Solarek, is determined to make Erica and Tina household names. Unfortunately, they believe that Mitchell's constant pushing to achieve this goal often fails to take their health and well being into consideration.
Erica's husband and Mary Mary's producer, Warryn, questions Mitchell about his management of Mary Mary, and the two engage in an ongoing power struggle for the control of the group.
Meanwhile, Mitchell constantly challenges the professionalism of Erica and Tina's sister and stylist, Goo Goo. When Goo Goo's boyfriend, Justin, threatens Mitchell physically, the Mary Mary team is thrown into a state of chaos.
Mary Mary's grueling work schedule is compounded when Tina, expecting her fifth child, refuses to stop pushing herself. Despite repeated warnings from her husband, Teddy, and her doctor, who worry that Tina is in danger of giving birth prematurely, Tina continues to travel and perform.
Meanwhile, Erica takes her newborn daughter, Zaya, on the road with Mary Mary, and Erica wants the group to push harder than ever to achieve even greater heights of success.
Erica's desire to work is constantly at odds with Tina's longing for more quality time with her family. Frustrated, Erica takes her first steps to fulfill a lifelong dream of launching her solo career, which causes a rift that threatens to destroy Mary Mary.
Facing a crossroads, Erica and Tina must call upon their bond as sisters if they are to save their career as musicians.
