Season 1

Come Fly with Me is a British mockumentary television comedy series created by and starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams as a spoof of the British documentaries Airport and Airline, which follows the activity at a fictional airport and three fictional airlines: FlyLo (a low-cost airline), Our Lady Air (an Irish low-cost airline) and Great British Air (a major international British airline).

A variety of staff and passengers are followed, most of whom are played by Lucas and Walliams.

The series premiered in the UK on BBC One and BBC HD on 25 December, 2010.

Come Fly with Me premiered in South Africa on DStv's BBC Entertainment channel on Tuesday 13 September 2011, at 21h00. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are six episodes in the first season.

Synopsis

There's something special in the air.

From flight crew to check-in, and from paparazzi to passengers, Matt Lucas and David Walliams play almost 50 characters in a gloriously magnificent mock-documentary set in an airport terminal.

In this eagerly anticipated return to television screens since achieving worldwide success with Little Britain, Matt and David now turn their attention to the people who work and pass through airports.

Among their creations are Omar, the owner of Flylo (Britain's eighth favourite low cost airline) and Flylo's check in girls, Melody and Keeley. We also meet Mickey and Buster, the airport's resident photographers, and Precious Little, the world's laziest coffee kiosk lady.

Also featured are the snobby staff of the country's most prestigious airline, Great British Air.

The two stars draw on every aspect of airport life to create an amazing array of richly comic characters, supported by award-winning costume and make-up teams and shot on location at Britain's airports.
