Season 2
Brand X with Russell Brand is an American talk show and stand up comedy television series created by Brand and Troy Miller and shot in front of a live studio audience in which comedian Russell Brand shares his unvarnished, unfiltered take on current events, politics and pop culture.
The series aired in the USA on FX from 28 June, 2012 to 2 May, 2013. There are 26 episodes (13 half-hour episodes and 13 hour-long episodes) in two seasons.
Brand X with Russell Brand premiered in South Africa on DStv's Vuzu channel on Wednesday 10 July 2013, at 22h30. Season 2 has not yet aired in South Africa.
Synopsis
FX's late-night comedy stars acclaimed actor/comedian Russell Brand and features Brand's unvarnished, unfiltered take on current events, politics and pop culture.
The format draws heavily on Brand's interaction with that audience. In the second season it expands to focus on Brand's unique, rollicking skillset at the traditional monologue, celebrity interviews, and audiences segments.
The series is produced by FX Productions in association with Branded Films and Dakota Films.
