About the Show

Love Bites is an American comedy-drama anthology television series created by Cindy Chupack in which each episode focuses on three short vignettes, often intertwined by a common theme or character and related to the three main protagonists.

The series aired in the USA on NBC from 2 June to 21 July, 2011. There are nine hour-long episodes in one season.

Love Bites originally aired in South Africa on M-Net and DStv's M-Net HD channel from 10 November, 2011 to 5 January, 2012. It later aired on DStv's M-Net Series channel. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Love Bites premiered on M-Net Series on Sunday 8 April 2012, at 22h30. New episodes broadcast weekly.

Synopsis

Love Bites is an hour-long romantic comedy anthology series featuring three loosely connected modern stories of love, sex, marriage and dating.

Each of the multiple vignettes involve an array of guest stars every week and illuminate the theme of love with a fresh, irreverent spin.

Anchoring the series and appearing in each episode are stars Becki Newton as Annie Matopoulos, a single New York City girl looking for "Mr. Right Now"; and Constance Zimmer and Greg Grunberg as Colleen and Judd Rouscher, a happily married Venice Beach couple.

Guest cast for the pilot episode includes Jennifer Love Hewitt, Craig Robinson, Kyle Howard, Steve Howey, Lindsay Price, Larry Wilmore, Guillermo Diaz, Krysten Ritter, David Giuntoli and Charlyne Yi.

Emmy Award-winning producer/director Marc Buckland directed the pilot, and serves as an executive producer. He's joined by executive producers Tracy Poust and Jon Kinnally and Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan and Shelley McCrory of Working Title Television.

Emmy Award-winning writer/producer Cindy Chupack is the creator, and wa consulting producer on the series.

Love Bites is from Universal Media Studios and Working Title Television, which is a new division of Working Title Films.
