New soapie Zabalaza debuts on two channels on Tuesday night (7 May 2013) at 21h00: on Mzansi Magic and on the new Mzansi Wethu channel that launches on DStv channel 163 on the same day. It premieres in a double bill.

Episode 1David proposes to Neli. Will he get the answer he hopes for?
There are repercussions for the maid after Mpilo urges her to take her bribe. Jazzman appears to be a good hard working businessman but it soon becomes clear that he's involved with wicked types.

Thabo gives Jazzman the location of the informant and they meet up in the empty Jazz club where V12 witnesses a gruesome attack.

Episode 3 Neli’s secret - which she begs Moss to keep - comes to light but both Gasta and David start to notice more signs of it. V12 is freaked out about what he's witnessed but it gives Moss an interesting idea.

Episode 4 Moss plants a seed of doubt about Neli’s character to his family while David fights for Neli’s integrity demanding acceptance of Neli into his family. Mpilo, against her family wishes, sneaks out for a drag racing night. Moss messes with his father’s plans and puts V12’s life in danger.

Episode 5 Moss is proclaimed a hero for rescuing his cousin V12 and rushing him to the hospital. Meanwhile, Lithebe makes accusations against Jazzman. V12 sinks into a coma and the Cele's come together in this time of need.

Jazzman starts to suspect Moss’s story about how V12 was actually shot. Gasta is conflicted when Sponono asks her if she can stay with her when she comes out on parole.
