Gugu Zulu have been on three reality shows so far and are determined to do another - this time, together.
Letshego was on Fear Factor in 2006 and Gugu on Strictly Come Dancing 5 in 2008.
I hotfooted through to the
Survivor Maldives finale on Thursday night and caught up with Gugu before the show. As you may or may not know, Letshego and Gugu have been dating for about 10 years and Gugu was there in full force natch.
I asked him what they're planning on getting up to after Survivor and his answer, with no hestitation, was: "The Amazing Race."
He spilt that he and Letshego have been investigating getting onto the US series. They've been liaising with production company Endemol (reality specialists) and been actively pursuing options on how they can make it happen.
Letshego reiterated their plans at the press conference after the finale, telling the press: "
It took me two hours to tie my boots. Watch this space."
Me pretending to introduce them on TAR i.e. be Phil (forgot to do the eyebrow unfort.)
They'd be perfect for it don't you think? They're both sporty, Gugu could do all the driving, they've stood strong through various reality knocks and their opening credits story could be: "We've been together for forever and need to tie the knot. The race is our ultimate test to see if we should."
