Top Billing's done a 360-degree turnaround on last year's
terrible Presenter Search prize.
A reminder of what it was in case you've shelved it in horror: Presenter Search winner Jonathon Boynton-Lee and a viewer each won the
use of a Mercedes for six months i.e. they had to give the prize back.
The show's been celebrating its 21st birthday this year and they're upping on the ante on prizes - in the extreme.
They'll be giving away an apartment. That a viewer will keep and own.
What could possibly
not go wrong?!
Word from SABC3 is that the channel and show's received loads of comments from viewers over the years that Top Billing spotlights so many pricey places that the majority of viewers can't afford so they decided they'd give such a place away as a prize.
The competition's going to involve viewers in the furnishing and design of the place, it's going to be fully furnished etc. so that whoever wins it will win it with everything in it.
