Hott! The Amazing Race SA

At the end of last year I heard a whiff of a rumour that SABC3's working towards an Amazing Race SA and today a mole spilt that it's 60% confirmed as happening.

Apparently it'll follow the exact same format and style of the international TAR, except it's gonna be a race round Africa - with our own Eyeliminator natch.

If (and when) it happens it'll race off next year - from the sounds of it it'll swing into action in the first half of the year. I'll keep you clued as soon as I hear more.

In other TAR news, a follow-up to the goss about SET premiering Season 12 next month - SABC3's confirmed that they have the rights to Season 11, 12 and 13. No news yet as to premiere dates nor whether The Apprentice will move or continue being a Roadblock between TAR and Survivor.

As excited as I am about this, but ke I have an issue of why the format has to be the same as the international TAR, why can't SAn's be original and have a different style that's unique to our country???

Nonny i think doing it on the continent will make it unique to all other TAR shows.plus i et there contractual obligations tat they cant tweek too much with the format since i believe they dont own the rights to the format of the show

iyo - tell them to stay far far away from cape town international airport, they're better off taking the train - they had a bomb scare there yesteday, i know coz i was trying to catch a flight, and had to leave coz airport was evacuated! and they had one last week too! irritating!

as long as it doesn't look like that other show with families racing around CApe Town. It was so bad, i've even forgotten the name. I am going to enter though-just for the travel opportunity!
