Juliet Simms delivered another kick butt performance on
The Voice On Wednesday night with her raspylicious rendition of Aerosmith's "Cryin".
I was concerned for her after her Roxanne radness two weeks ago because she set her standard so high she needed to deliver the same or better. And she did. Her performance was spellbinding and firmly secured her a spot as a hott contender for the win.
My best thing about her is that she leaves you urgently wanting to hear her sing your favourite songs. When her performance was over I found myself thinking of a bunch of songs that I want her to sing to see what she'll do with them.
It's the same quality that rocketed Dia Frampton to the finals last season and it's what made Adam Lambert such a hit on American Idol. She's now firmly proven that it's the same for her and shows up the short-sighted people who've given her a "no" in the past.
It's crazy because I've always felt iffy about Aerosmith but she's made them so trendy I can't stop singing the opening line.
My second best thing about her: how she uses her hands.
