Miss SA 2010 Bokang Montjane, clinging to her crown last year.

On Sunday night (3 December) The Road To Miss South Africa wrapped the reality show with a spotlight on 2011's Top 12 finalists.

The pageant goes down this Sunday (11 December) at Sun City's Superbowl and will be hosted by ProVerb, who's hosting the ceremony solo - he hosted with Michelle McLean last year.

Michelle puts in her annual appearance in the commentary booth this year and Bridget Masinga will be on the red carpet and backstage.

The build-up and ceremony will be broadcast live on Mzansi Magic, starting at 16h30 - with a behind-the-scenes special.  The live broadcast starts from Sun City at 17h00 with the red carpet arrivals, followed by the ceremony.

Schedule shoutout: The X Factor will be on at 19h00. It returns to 18h00 on the 18th.

TVSA's Carino and Toodecent will be hitting Sun City for us so keep a lookout for front seat goss and pics after the pageant.

No doubt Pinky is the brainiest, i have not forgiven Lwandle as yet on that faux pas she made about Jo'burg and CT being the provinces of South Africa tjo.  Ramona looks composed and she might snatch it.

07 Dec 2011 14:34

Pinky Mathope and Remona Moodley are my winners, as for Lwandle I can't see the beauty that everyone is raving about plus she doesnt know the difference between a city and a province so I dont understand how she made it to the top 12. Maybe the judges felt sorry for her because of her tragedy in her family.

The build-up to the pageant's begun ... Bokang's just told the finalists that they really need to want the crown and commitment because she's only had one free weekend during the year.
