The Justin Bieber Sicko Factor

bieber_1I've been dying to say this for ages but haven't had time for a full RANT.

Here goes ....

Please, please, PLEASE tell me you find the whole Justin Bieber thing as creepy, archaic and twisted as girls getting married-off at age 12??

Obviously child stars are a regular phenomenon but it's very different with him because of how all the coverage and marketing surrounding him focuses so predominantly on sexual overtones.

At first I thought he was 14, but I see he's 16, even so, there's something so extremely wrong and ethically problematic about it i.e.his sexuality's being blatantly used and exploited by adults to greedily make a quick buck.

He'll be here today, gone tomorrow and next thing it'll be a 12-year old they're allowed to go after because the precedent has been set. The trouble is he's probably okay with it, which doesn't matter or make it any less of a problem.

If he were 18 and being sold as a sex symbol, no problem. But 16 is too young. It should be illegal.

I agree!

His mannerism and the way he handles himself on music videos is just too much for a 16 year old.

Yeah Justin does sing some irritating cheesy vomit inducing songs. I just cringe at the memory of it. You know when you hate a song so much and you can't get it out of your head. Wasn't Chris Brown 16 when he first came on the scene and look what happened now. Even if the story is not about him they still link it to him. Link below.

I was terribly disturbed by the undertone of of one of his songs  First dance i think its called, i could not even listen to the whole thing. There after all his songs scream a very sexualised undertone to me...not cool Usher.
Makes me wonder how he would have done had Justin timberlake won the bet.

I loved him when he was jista yputube sensation.
But hey...people have to make money right. I hope beyond all the mega flirting etche still is na nice kid..it could be for show?

I GENERALLY LIKE THE BOY...NOT FOR ANYTHING ELSE BUT THE FACT THAT HE CAN SING. WHEN I FIRST HEARD THE SONG I LAUGHED....NOT AT THE SINGING BUT AT THE FACT THAT HE IS QUITE YOUNG AND SINGING "I PROMISE I'LL BE GENTLE" AND MY NEXT COMMENT WAS...WHAT DOES HE KNOW ABOUT BEING GENTLE. AND THAT'S WHERE IT ENDED. I HAD NO IDEA THAT THERE WAS SUCH A HYPE AROUND HIM.

WHAT ARE HIS PARENTS SAYING ABOUT ALL OF THIS? OR ARE THEY TOO COMFORTABLE WITH ALL THE MONEY HE'S MAKING?

THE BOY CAN SING THOUGH....FOR ALL THOSE 16 YEAT OLDS OUT THERE.

Dnt forget that the world is soooo looking forward for an artist who is gonna take over MJ's legacy, unfortunately this boy is too squirky for my liking only my kids and few adults are taken by his sudden outburst!!!

My son almost cried when i criticised him , i had to brush it off and said i was joking, tjo!!
