I've just found a link to this story on
NOW Magazine and went to investigate and I'm finished - I can't stop bawling! hehe.
A contestant in the latest season of Britain's Got Talent has just given YouTube the highest number of video views for the past month with her audition for the show. Right this moment it's on: 8,172,415 views.
Her name's Susan Boyle and she comes from a small cluster of villages in the UK. Here's a link to the video which shows how her audition unfolds on the show ...
Susan Boyle On Britains Got TalentThe thing that's so heart crunching is the reality that she could have existed for 47 years, been tucked away in such a tiny place and yet have such a huge voice and so much to share with the world. The lyrics of " I Dreamed A Dream" in the context of it are too much!
It really makes you deeply wonder just how many others there are out there who haven't had the opportunity to express who they are or where circumstances have worked against them.
It's crazy imagining about how she feels about ripping up YouTube like this - obviously something she'd never have thought in her wildest dreams!
PS: Out of interest - the most viewed video on YouTube ever is Avril Lavigne's video of Girlfriend - viewed: 118,370,419 times - as far as I can work out it was uploaded by her record label.
