The only person who seemed to think it was as ridiculous was Mark Bayly who hosted the show. He was wearing proper pants and rolled them up to joke about them - which no-one seemed to realise:
Despite the fashion crisis the rest of evening was spicey - I spent the entire time touching guys for us - including e's Derek van Damm, who I spent some time schmoozing too (for my own alterior weathery purposes):

As you may have seen, eNews's got a whole bunch of new weather girls -
all chosen by Derek - so instead of
being iffy with him for taking my job, I decided I better try to be nice for once and suck up. (Still waiting for the call!)
Touch verdict: a good height and a good mix of feeling smart but sloppy at the same time.
Also - get this, it turns he wasn't there alone but with his
girlfriend, Catherine McChesney.
The pair met on location for a story - Derek was being interviewed, Catherine was the photographer, they locked eyes and that was that.

Verdict: smelt very nice - a guy-in-a-black-shirt smell - and felt very fresh. Was worried about the pointiness of his shoes though - :

Verdict: there's no hope for any of us unfort. Since we last saw Mark In Survivor he's gotten married.
He's also just celebrated having his first baby and recently finished filming an adventure/travel show. No news yet on what channel it'll be on but apparently it's looking like National Geographic.
