Lezel is a tomboy attorney who once played volleyball for South Africa. She is not, I repeat not, a model. She only looks like one. So I guess that’s one point for cast diversity, right? Does it count as diversity if they’re all not all models but some of them only look like models?
She’s open-minded and independent as well as competitive and responsible. Which is nice and all, but I don’t think any of those traits will help her much in the game except for competitiveness. Her worst trait is that she talks too much, is very critical and likes to be in control which is code for possible bossy boots.
She thinks her integrity could help her win her tribe’s respect but I think the negative traits mentioned above will get her voted out before she has a chance. I smell possible early boot.
The item she would most like to take onto the island with her would be either a Leatherman knife or Mackintosh.
Another one who’s into Leatherman knives? Maybe she and Jude can bond as they chat about the correct ways of polishing their bladed weapon collections.
Lezel is all spacey and *bleep!*. She spouts off ridiculous and nonsensical statements like this one: “I believe in universal oneness and the pure consciousness.” What the hell does that kak even mean? Talk about trying too hard to be deep and in touch with the universe or whatever. Wonder if she peppers her legal documents with that kind of ‘profound’ new age jargon she came up with when she was stoned?
I’ll say this for her: I like her list of favourite movies, actors, actresses and books better than most.
