Joe Millionaire lookalike Blake Towsley is making his living as a model. He must not make a very good living then. Luckily he’s got a day job as a real estate broker so he doesn’t starve to death.
He claims to have been president of every organisation he’s ever been in. I suspect he’s also been hated by his subordinates in every one of them.
Mr Type A Towsley describes himself as “so competitive it’s ridiculous”. Good, because I have a feeling I’ll be ridiculing him often.
He is “romantic, driven and gutsy” and this is reflected in his favourite activities which are skydiving (romantic, because he gets to be harnessed in with someone else), hunting (driven, because he is driven to eliminate as many species as he can) and kissing (gutsy, because he risks getting slapped by the unfortunate women he tries to kiss). He also watches NASCAR.
Red lights are going off in my head because he says he’s not the type to accept second place but he’s also not the type to scheme and backstab. He believes Survivor will be a true test of his moral fibre, and this tells you all you need to know about Blake.
He does not get what the show is about at all and is going to moralise about how badly others played the game when he is inevitably outwitted by someone who does get what the game is about.
