  The Oscar Winners
Oscar craze is in town. The predictions for those in the know seems to have come true. Barry Ronge on 702 called my fave movie Avatar a "pocahontas in blue paint" and The hurt locker  an amazing movie. AND he was right, as the Oscars got announced, The Hurt Locker rolled all over Avatar.

I am very happy for the Mo'Nique win for the role of Mary in Precious. Yeah! She rocked that character. Mark Boal in all the controversy and banning, won for best screenplay.

Sad that nothing SA won. It just goes to show, a South African should have played Madiba.

@ ms.tebby. Tlogela ngwana yo mongwe hle. But itjo, you are unto something there. Gabby should just forget about dieting and go striaght to lipo suction, especially now that she is into Hollywood. Look at Presley Cheneyagae, no one wants to touch him coz he ballooned to 147.63 kg after his Tsotsi success.
@ Sego, you may be right, these Americans didn't give us the Oscar coz we didn't have an American as a lead actor. But the truth be told, I though Avatar was going to win this win this one. Shame Avatar director didn't win.
Motsepe should fund a movie on Madiba and have John Kani play Madiba. Motsepe, are you reading here?
@ myname, I must also watch this "Hurt Locker", it must really be good since it scooped an Oscar.

I'll watch the Hurt Locker but last time I watched a movie that took all the awards at the Oscars I was dissapointed, The English Patient, it was the most boring movie ever for me, yet it won numerous awards...

Monique is one yummy big mama, she looks fresh and always dress well for her full figure....

off the top of my head, only three times have Black actors been nominated in both main categories, the last time both won. In the seventies, neither did.Kay Gayle.PS. lekker pics.
