Monday 3 May 2010 Episode 534Maria overhears Gabi and Antonio - she thinks that Gabi found out how Antonio feels about her. She brings a picture of Antonio on the day of his first confession, reminding him that Carmen always used to say that confession makes the soul pure and white.
When he loses his temper at her, Maria tells him that she just brought the picture to tell him that maybe he was meant to be a priest.
Then she realizes that something more happened than just Gabi finding out how he feels about her, but he won't tell her what. Maria tells Antonio that she's decided to give Ben the divorce.
Tuesday 4 May 2010 Episode 535When a sedated Caitlin begs Sean to get Cole, Sean berates Gregory for breaking them up. Caitlin has a nightmare about Cole taking Trey from her.
Emily walks in while Sean is comforting his sister. Cole tells Olivia that he tied Annie up so that she wouldn't go anywhere while he looked for her. Cole acts distant when telling Olivia that he wants some straight answers, and that he can't trust Annie.
When Trey cries, Cole sends Olivia to deal with him. Cole tells Annie that he's going to tell Olivia that he knows that Trey isn't Caitlin's son.
When he sees Olivia holding Trey, he tells her to put their son down.
Wednesday 5 May 2010 Episode 536Ben arrives with the divorce papers and Carmen tells them that the divorce will never happen. After Ben leaves, Maria reads over the divorce papers, remembering the good times with Ben.
Meg tells her parents that Maria finally agreed to the divorce. Sara and Casey arrive while Hank, Joan and Meg argue about Meg's future with Ben. Caitlin has another nightmare - this time, it was of her family ignoring her while she asks for Trey.
Gregory plays stupid until Cole admits to being Trey's father, then he pretends to figure out that Olivia is Trey's mother and that he could be Trey's father.
Gregory puts Olivia on the spot by asking her which of them is Trey's father.
Olivia reminds Gregory that she is Trey's mother. Gregory tells her that she's not good enough to be his mother.
Olivia returns to taunt Annie. While she's there, Caitlin returns home and overhears her admitting that she's Trey's mother. Cole tells Gregory that since he was adamant on having Dr. Manning perform the test, he wants Tyus to perform the test, instead. Gregory consents.
Tyus tells them that the answer to Trey's paternity is already in their files. Bette comes in while AJ tries to strangle Francesca.
Thursday 6 May 2010 Episode 537Antonio has a fantasy about Francesca showing everyone the tape at Ricardo and Gabi's wedding.
A woman brings a shoebox containing $200,000 to Antonio for safekeeping because she doesn't trust banks, and wants to put it in the church safe. Antonio feels too tempted to use it to pay Francesca, so he refuses to take it.
Gabi hides the gun just as Ricardo arrives home with flowers for her. At first, when Francesca shows up, Gabi thinks she was there to tell Ricardo about the tape, but she was actually there to report AJ for assaulting her.
Ricardo leaves, so Gabi breaks the news to Francesca that she couldn't get the money. When Francesca berates her, she takes the gun out of the box where she'd hidden it.
Monday 10 May 2010 Episode 538When Maria tells them that she won't sign the papers, Meg accuses her of having planned not to give Ben the divorce all along, but then Maria insists that she didn't sign the papers because their divorce wouldn't happen fast enough that way.
She tells them that she booked flights for them to the Dominican Republic for a quickie divorce - and that she booked fights for Ben and Meg to Venice the next day for their wedding.
Maria tells Carmen that she and Ben are going to the Dominican Republic to get a divorce. Carmen insists that their marriage is not over.
A woman looksup Ben's address in the phone book.
Tuesday 11 May 2010 Episode 539Francesca tells Cole that she saw his car in the parking lot and wanted to see what he was doing. When she offers to do anything she can to help, he says that it is too late to help.
He admits that Trey isn't his son, but tells her that he can't leave Caitlin. When Francesca realises that if Cole forgives Caitlin, she will never get Cole back - she decides to turn Caitlin against Cole.
A nurse tells Sean and Emily that Caitlin had escaped. Olivia asks Caitlin if she really believed that she, Cole and Trey were going to live happily ever after, and she finally convinces her daughter to face the truth - that Trey isn't her son.
Wednesday 12 May 2010 Episode 540Ben promises Meg that there will never be any obstacles between them again.
When Olivia askes why he wants to tell Caitlin the truth, Cole says that he wants to prove to her that he isn't completely blameless.
Rose tells Cole and Olivia that Caitlin has disappeared from her bedroom. Michael admits that he still cares about Vanessa.
She begs him for a chance to win back his trust. Caitlin returns home and asks Cole if he slept with Olivia.
Thursday 13 May 2010 Episode 541 Olivia walks in on Caitlin while she is visiting Trey. Caitlin tells her mother that she should have been there for her, like her mother has always been there for her. She says that she hates Olivia and that she will never forgive her.
Caitlin tells Trey that Olivia may have given birth to her, but that she doesn't deserve him, and that she'd kill anyone who tried to take him from her.
Olivia decides that she should have killed Francesca while she had the chance.
Monday 17 May 2010 Episode 542Carmen makes another unsuccessful attempt to convince Maria that she shouldn't get the divorce. Ben presents Meg with her pearls again. They make love.
When she arrives, Maria tells Meg and Ben that she wants her journal, to see if it will help her remember her missing five years.
While looking for her journal, Maria is overcome with sadness.
Ben tells her that she will always be welcome there, but she responds that she will never come back.
Tess comes to see Ben and brings Benjy, with her, who asks if the house is where his daddy lives.
Tuesday 18 May 2010 Episode 543Overcome by emotions, Maria rips the pages from the journal. When Ben comes down the stairs, Benjy yells, "There's my Daddy!" and runs to him.
Tess reminds Benjy that he promised to wait. She explains that Ben is Benjy's father, and that Maria is his mother.
When Maria comes downstairs, Benjy recognizes her and calls her "Mommy."
The bullet hits Francesca. She falls to the floor.
An obviously ill-at-ease AJ and Olivia bump into each other. He says that he didn't think that he'd ever felt better than he did at that moment.
Amy and Brad find Trey in the rental car.
Wednesday 19 May 2010 Episode 544While Ricardo tries to save Francesca's life, Caitlin says that she wishes that Francesca would die. They revive Francesca and send her to the hospital.
Ricardo begins his investigation by asking AJ where his gun is. AJ says that he lost his gun. Everyone says that they want to take Trey to get checked out, so Ricardo agrees to move the investigation to the hospital.
Russell confronts Annie, who realises that if Francesca regains consciousness, everything will be over. She fantasizes about Francesca's funeral - until she walks closer to the coffin and sees herself in it.
They bring Francesca in, dying.
Thursday 20 May 2010 Episode 545Gabi asks Antonio if he knew what happened to the gun after he took it from her. Francesca goes into cardiac arrest before she can answer Ricardo's question about whether Antonio shot her.
Amy tells Sean that she rescued Trey. When Ricardo tells Antonio that Francesca accused him of shooting her, and asked him for an alibi, Gabi interrupts to suggest that perhaps Francesca was asking for he last rites.
Monday 24 May 2010 Episode 546When Ben and Maria asks Benjy when he last saw Maria, he says that it was before she left to come back to Sunset Beach.
Sara's accusation that the timing of the sudden appearance of Maria's "son" seems a little too convenient starts to make sense to Meg.
Meg arranges to speak to Ben privately. She tells him that she isn't convinced that Benjy is his son.
Sara tells Casey about her theory that everything was set up by Maria and Tess - but he denies that it was possible.
Tuesday 25 May 2010 Episode 547Alone in the studio together, Tess expresses surprise that Maria really didn't remember either her or Benjy. Maria asks her to talk about their time in Seattle in hopes that it would help her remember her missing five years.
Tess tries to convince Maria that Benjy could bring her and Ben back together again. Although Ben admits that he didn't believe that Benjy was his son, he also denies that Maria had anything to do with the charade.
Ben comforts Meg when she had doubts about whether they belong together. Ben assures Meg that everything will work out. Benjy walks in on them kissing.
Wednesday 26 May 2010Episode 548 As she reaches out to the life support machine, Ricardo stops Annie from interfering. Francesca regains consciousness. The first thing she does is call Annie a bitch.
Francesca chokes out Annie's name and goes into cardiac arrest.
Bette establishes that Cole and Caitlin are looking for Trey, alone and separately, and that Gregory was dictating tapes alone in his office when Francesca was shot.
Ruiz shows up and Ricardo chews him out for not getting to the hospital more quicklyr.
Just before bursting into tears, Gabi tells Antonio that everything she's done, she did for them.
Thursday 27 May 2010 Episode 549When Caitlin complains about Gregory letting Olivia see Trey, he tells her that she should hide her hatred for Francesca from Annie and Olivia.
Annie overhears Caitlin telling Gregory that she was looking for Trey when Francesca was shot, and Gregory assures her that they'll find witnesses to validate her alibi.
Caitlin tells Olivia that if she shot Francesca, she doesn't deserve Trey.
Sean returns with flowers and ice cream. When Bette tells him that Olivia was visiting Trey, he decides to visit her to make up.
Monday 31 May 2010 Episode 550 Ricardo walks in just as Francesca codes.
Francesca dies.
Ricardo orders an autopsy so that he will know if the gunshot or Cole tampering with her life support killed her.
Antonio tells Gabi that Francesca accused her of shooting her. He says that if she shot Francesca, he was to blame, because it was his failure that gave Francesca the material to blackmail her.
Gabi tells a very relieved Antonio that she didn't shoot Francesca.
Antonio gets the call that Francesca has died.
