This Saturday (24 May, 2008) Nikki Greenwall travels to the South of France to cover the 61st annual Cannes Film Festival.
The festival runs from 14 to 25 May and features high profile events including:
the world premiere of Steven Spielberg’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
the red carpet screening of Woody Allen’s latest film Vicky Cristina Barcelona starring Scarlett Johansson, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem and
Clint Eastwood’s latest offering The Changeling, starring Angelina Jolie.
Also on the list of events this year is Sharon Stone’s infamous AMFAR Charity dinner and the world premiere of the animated feature Kung Fu Panda, featuring the voices of Angelina Jolie and Jack Black.
Greenwall will also be spending time with the South African delegation in Cannes to find out more about our country’s involvement in the world’s biggest celebration of independent cinema.
