A new drama series starring Timothy Hutton (Ordinary People) about the exploits of a motley crew of modern-day Robin Hoods on a mission to protect those unfairly treated by the powerful and wealthy.

In the premiere episode entitled The Nigerian Job: a desperate aerospace CEO (Saul Rubinek) asks Nate Ford (Hutton), an insurance investigator who once specialized in recovering stolen goods worth millions, to lead a team of expert thieves in recovering his designs, stolen by a rival company. However, it transpires the designs were never the CEO's to begin with.

Now Nate must convince the band of criminals he leads to do the right thing and steal the plans back.

A 13-part series, Leverage premiered on the US network TNT last December. It is executive-produced by John Rogers (Cosby) and Dean Devlin, who co-wrote and produced the movies Godzilla, Independence Day and Stargate. Gina Belling of Coupling stars alongside Hutton.
