Various new shows premiered on SABC1 this October. We weren't able to feature the line-up at the start of October because information wasn't confirmed or available for them before their premieres.

All the details have now been confirmed and finalised, so here's a wrap of the premiere line-up, including schedule changes:

Mzansi Insider
Premiere date: Monday 11 October 2010, at 18h30


Hosted by Phila Mazibuko and Hlelo and Ntando Masina, the show covers lifestyle events, celeb gossip and behind-the-scenes of SABC1 shows, along with musical inserts.

RESPECT 2
Premiere date: Monday, 11 October 2010 at 19h00

HHP returns for a second season of RESPECT, which was previously titled The RESPECT Show With HHP.

The show continues to pay respect and tribute to South Africans who have shaped the South African alandscape in their various fields.

Dance Your Butt Off
Premiere date: Tuesday, 12 October 2010 at 18h30


The local version of the hit American series Dance Your Ass Off will see porky competitors paired with professional dancers in a format that's unlike any other.

Intersexions
Premiere date: Tuesday 12 October 2010 at 20h30


A drama series about the lives and loves of those affected by the HIV virus as well as the circumstances of their contracting the virus and the relationships in their lives.

Ambush (working title "Relentless")
Premiere date: Saturday 23 October 2010 at 18h30


A new reality competition show, hosted by Rapulana Seiphemo.

Each week contestants complete five challenges in a 24-hour period for a chance to win up to R50,000, never knowing when they will be called into action, or "ambushed".

TIME CHANGES

City Ses'la 4
Previously on: Mondays at 19h00
Now on: Fridays at 20h30
Schedule date change: from Friday, 15 October 2010


The fourth season of City Ses'la ran on Mondays for the first 13 episodes and changed to Fridays at 20h30 for Episode 14, on Friday, 15 October 2010.
