The first Royalty Soapie Awards are coming up at the Durban International Convention Centre this Saturday (8 March) and will air on SABC1 on Sunday night (9th).
The broadcast will be a 72-minute special (including the red carpet) and starts at 20h30.
As we
reported last year when the awards first arrived on the scene, they've have been founded by Generations star Winnie Modise who has joined forces with the KZN government for the event.
The awards were scheduled to take place in November last year but were

Various shows are missing from the line-up of nominees, most notably e.tv soapies Rhythm City and Scandal!. e.tv has chosen not to be involved in the ceremony, stating that the broadcaster will be meeting with the award organisers later this year to discuss the possibility of their involvement in the future.
