As you know,
Come Duze has become a firmly entrenched regular feature on SABC1 over New Year. Each year the programme airs over midnight, taking viewers from the previous year into the new one.
So how many people does it appeal to? Do a huge number of people tune in or is everyone too busy doing other things?
This is what the ratings say:
1) Come Duze has a higher viewership than Selimathunzi and The Real Goboza.
2) It has substantially fewer viewers than SABC1's dramas and Generations.
3) It's not a top show for the channel.

But, 40% of people who watched TV on New Year's eve watched Come Duze.
This year the average viewership for the show was 2 833 480 viewers.
