Durban hipsters Cyber-Links have been crowned the winners of Season 3 of Step Up or Step Out. The five-dude crew won the title at the show's live finale showdown last night (15 September).
The 5-sum started their journey to victory by outperforming PE group De Javu who were the first to be eliminated from the Top 3. They then went on to snap Cape Town crew Snap, Crackle, Pop who took the runners-up spot.
The finale featured performances by each of the crews with a guest performance by Donald and his red mic. The show also featured a De Javu of last year with a performance by Season 2 winners Tembisa Revolution.
The real showstopper of the night was the second performance by Cyber-Links. Their first performance was spoilt by a terrible costume choice that smothered their faces but their second routine was win-worthy.
The number paid tribute to their heritage with a Zulu-inspired performance that combined the past and the present to create something new.
