SABC1's problem child
Mzansi Insider's going through yet another radical change. It was a lifestyle show when it first launched two years ago, it became a talk show last year and now it's becoming a breakfast show.
It's going to relaunch as a live Saturday breakfast show on 7 September at 09h00.
According to SABC1, the channel hasn't been sure what to do with the series - as we've seen! - so they've decided to take it into the breakfast zone. SABC1's the only free-to-air channel that doesn't have a breakfast show and wants to get into the space.
Whether or not Mzansi Insider manages to shake viewers awake remains to be seen. The show's always had a slant towards the youth a.k.a. people who don't
do breakfast on Saturdays because they've been out partying all night on Fridays.
Presenters for it haven't been confirmed yet - auditions are currently underway.
