Coming up on Motswako this week:

Episode title: Paternity fraud

Broadcast date: Monday, 30 April 2012

Teaser ...

This Monday Motswako speaks about the unspoken: do we know who our fathers are?

Uncertainty about a child’s paternity is an issue that exists in our communities but is often swept under the carpet because it taps into a sensitive and taboo area.

The show looks at the issues surrounding paternity from the perspective of a father who needs to determine if he is raising his own child, and interrogates the honesty element: what would make a mother withhold the truth? Does she understand the emotional implications of what she’d be putting her family through?

Motswako is on SABC2 on Mondays at 21h30.
