Lost: Revelation
I can’t quite say that the episode was a revelation; I mean, as far as I could tell, it was basically a recap show.
But here’s the weird thing – I have friends in the US and in Australia and they all tell me that during the Revelation episode, the following was revealed to them (why not us?? Is there something wrong with us?)
Spoilers Ahead.
You have been warned!
1. Hurley was not the only one to have spent time in a mental institution.
Well, I can think of at least 6 others on that Island that I can think of that could have been institutionalized. Take Locke, for example – the man is clearly a bit mental. Wouldn’t be all that surprised. Or let’s take a look at Jack. Jack has been through a lot in his life – you can see it in his eyes, and he’s so intense in everything he does that a failure wouldn’t bode well for him. So, maybe it’s Jack.
2. We will see the monster in the next episode.
Ah. Well. About that, elsewhere, Mr Eko’s episode (the 23rd Psalm) was aired after this revelation episode.
3. Now this one’s a doozy, and was just shown to the Aussies - according to JJ Abrahams, there’s a clue to the secrets of Lost in his upcoming MI 3 movie. A shameless plug if ever I saw one. As for how true it is, I can’t quite say. I’ll let you know after I have seen MI 3.
That’s all I have for you today.
I hear next week’s episode is excellent!
