Tuesday 5 August 2008Episode 2398Sthembiso and Priya are still keen to know what Dineo was doing in the hospital, using a false name, just before Bloch was poisoned. Vusi Moletsane has a bad day at the office. Stella stuns the producers of the Horizon Deep centenary show.
Wednesday 7 August 2008Episode 2399 Barker is arrested on more than a hundred charges, and there's every chance that this is going to stick. Vusi does everything in his power to avert the board's decision, but he is fast running out of options.
Thursday 8 August 2008Episode 2400 Sthembiso blames Barker's incarceration on Alec Mathews. Vusi is still fighting to block the miner's retrenchments. Jess and Paul only have a day to finish the musical, and must do so on very little sleep.
Friday 9 August 2008Episode 2401 Dineo realizes the road she has chosen is hard and lonely. Vusi is determined to fight for his miners no matter what the cost to him personally. Calvin finds himself unwittingly roped in to help the show.
Monday 11 August 2008Episode 2402 After being remanded in custody, Barker realizes that there's more to his arrest than meets the eye. Is Vusi Moletsane fighting a losing battle? Maggie is thrilled at the prospect of directing an excellent musical script.
Tuesday 12 August 2008Episode 2403 Sthembiso tells Dineo to have Barker's jet standing by so that she can leave the country straight after the bail hearing. Vusi signs the memo that stops mining on Horizon Deep. Maggie struggles to cast the centenary show.
Wednesday 13 August 2008Episode 2404 Sthembiso's cunning gives him the upper hand once more, as Barker finds himself heading back into his jail cell. Zeb reluctantly acts as mediator between Vusi and Letti, but their miscommunication continues. Maggie finds her leading lady.
Thursday 14 August 2008Episode 2405 Dineo learns she has been a puppet in a master's hands. Letti almost gets Vusi to open up about his troubles. The Horizon Deep Centenary show kicks off with Maggie causing Calvin and Jess to make up.
Friday 15 August 2008Episode 2406 Barker works out how he can put some real pressure on Sthembiso. Zakes, now a powerful figure in the union, wants to see Vusi, and Vusi needs to know why. Lolly wonders if Letti is jealous that Lolly and Vusi play lovers in the play.
Monday 18 August 2008Episode 2407 Priya tells Sthembiso she has had enough chicanery and is going to tell Rajesh about the autopsy report. Vusi cannot believe that the man who lost the Horizon Deep workers their representation on the mine's board can possibly have any integrity.
Tuesday 19 August 2008Episode 2408 Sthembiso Shezi puts the ball firmly in Rajesh's court. Letti's worries about Vusi are put on hold prematurely. Paul and Jess are outraged by the demands of the cast and director.
Wednesday 20 August 2008Episode 2409 Priya dances a complicated dance with Sthembiso Shezi and gets a reprieve. Vusi is worried about the retrenchment negotiations, and about Letti not knowing how hard-line he is being with the board. Stella doesn't want to be Georgie's lover.
Thursday 21 August 2008 Episode 2410 Rajesh Kumar chooses jail over freedom. Zakes and Vusi's meeting doesn't produce the good news people are so desperately hoping for. Letti struggles to fill her mother's big shoes while Maggie asserts herself as a no-nonsense director.
Friday 22 August 2008Episode 2411Barker is moved to another prison, and meets his cellmate. Vusi and Zakes realize the board are playing hardball and Parsons makes disastrous dinner plans. Stella apologizes to Maggie and gets caught up in the idea of taking the show to another level.
Monday 25 August 2008 Episode 2412 Barker Haines, a frightened man, awakes in the cell he shares with Rajesh Kumar. Vusi fears the workers will go ahead with the strike, even if it is declared illegal. Maggie loses two actors in quick succession.
Tuesday 26 August 2008Episode 2413 Barker is mouse quiet and Rajesh works at provoking Barker into admitting his transgressions. Vusi decides on a drastic course of action, one that will change his life. Maggie is starting to feel the pressure of directing theatre.
Wednesday 27 August 2008Episode 2414 Barker takes serious strain in his bizarre situation. Letti finds out shocking news that makes her very insecure. Maggie is thrown yet another show curve ball when Lolly comes down with something.
Thursday 28 August 2008 Episode 2415 Barker confronts his own mortality: could this be the end for Barker Haines? Letti and Vusi's marriage is put to the test as they come to loggerheads over Vusi's plans to resign. An onstage kiss brings Jess and Calvin one step closer to the real thing.
Friday 29 August 2008Episode 2416 Barker is at death's door, but Sthembiso brushes off the press and accuses him of malingering. Vusi doesn't know if he can resign if Letti is not supportive of the decision. A stage kiss between Jess and Calvin is a little more authentic than necessary.
