A new 26-episode dukebox show called iRequest premieres on Channel O tomorrow night (Tuesday, 25 May) at 18h00.
The show stars roving cameras that visit different hottspots across the African continent to gather music requests from partygoers.
Venues that are the show visits include places such as nightclubs, music festivals, restaurants and sports events. The cams hook up with revellers who can put in a request for a track and give a shout-out to everyone watching.
Throughout the show the tracks are mixed with interesting titbits about the musos and the songs requested.
The premiere date for the show has been specially chosen to co-incide with the unity inspired by Africa Day.
