O-Access In Search Of A New Nonhle

As reported on TVSA, Nonhle Thema has moved from Channel O to Vuzu and she's already so 5-tweets ago to O that they've decided to COPY SABC1's LIVE with a nationwide talent search for a new presenter for O-Access.

What are they looking for? Someone who's crazy enough to sacrifice themselves to the hard and terrible torture of: jetsetting around the world to interview A-list stars.

In other words, it's a dream job just waiting to be landed.

The auditions are happening online. To enter you need to fill in the audition form on Channel O's website and upload both a picture of yourself and a video.

Entries are open to co-ed. Here's a link to the entry form: O-Access Audition/Entry Form.

The video needs to be a 30 to 40-second audition video. Interpret this as you will and go wild.

Entries close on Friday, 14 May and the new season with the new presenter premieres in July.

No they can't just hire cassandra, they are looking for new talent which is a good thing, we're tired of seeing the same faces everywhere like they are the ones that invented tv! 5 years ago no one knew who Bonang, Fix or Sizwe were and now they are household names... It's a good idea

! An update: entries close at the end of this week. Once they're in the judges are going to look at the footage and pics and create a shortlist of people who'll go onto the next phase: an on-screen audition for them in the flesh.

An update: the auditions are done and 25 finalists have been chosen. The Top 5 are being decided as we speak. Will update as soon as they're confirmed.
